Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has everything! Scenic views from every window, a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and enough room to spread out. This is our second time renting this home for a multi family ski trip and we will be back next year. The staff at Best of Canaan is always accommodating, organized, and helpful.

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. There is a slow cooker, stick pita, Baki g dishes, a coffee pot takes both “k cups” and brews a pot - although the buttons have the writing worn off so you’ll need to pull up the user manual. The twin beds we uncomfortable for adults to sleep on. Bring a pad for comfort. It’s the first place we rented that there was only one towel per guest - no extra linens. Lots of extra blankets and 2 fans were on property Although there is a washer/dryer. No hot tub towels so bring your own.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed staying at this house. It’s one of the few houses in Canaan Valley that doesn’t require 4 wheel drive. We liked that the house was one level, also not as common in the valley. The deck is huge with a really nice hot tub, a gas fire pit and patio heater. We enjoyed the fire burning fireplace indoors. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Cherry Grove, the location, layout of the home, and the amenities. We have stayed in behind the guard gate at Timberline for 26 years. Stayed in 30 or more homes, bc we come more often than once a year, and this one gave us a feel of home. We don't have any complaints a couple of suggestions the electric stove burners work until they didn't lol (it is an older stove and Id use it until it died too), it just had a mind of its own and I had to switch out to another burner, and the beds need memory foam or box springs. Those are only my opinions! I will visit Cherry Grove again and I'm sure the stove will be fixed and as far as the beds, (I ran to Wal-Mart and bought cheap memory foam) and brought them home for next time. A homeowner can only take care of what they know....and just bc something isn't NEW and SHINY doesn't mean it is not good. Their washer and dryer were older but if you pay attention to the owner's instructions, they work excellent. I like staying where I feel my payment was worth it and Cherry Grove is an excellent place to stay. Best of Canaan is great to accommodate me and the needs of my family. The home was clean, child-friendly, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook 3 meals a day. Cherry Grove is a home in which to come back to.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to this same house for over a decade. The owners have always made a point of keeping the house up and is very clean. It had slipped a bit the last few years but we always enjoy the house: the floor plan and the size of it and that it is tucked away in the corner of the neighborhood. We don't like that we have fewer towels. That was an unexpected problem this year. We also miss the old furniture- diningroom table in particular. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable. But,all in all, we love this house. We've even gone as far as to enquire if it has ever been for sale.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year coming to Cherry Grove and it won't be our last. This home is simply breathtaking. There is plenty of space for everyone with a large gameroom that the kids hardly came out of. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. The hottub and deck are our favorite places to be and the view from the living room can't be beat. If you just need to get away from life and reconnect with your loved ones this is where you go. You won't be disappointed.
