Come to Gold Bar to sit in a warm beautiful cabin that sit on top of the skykomish river. Internet, nex-flix and DVD for your liking. A huge deck with a walk in hot tub off the deck. A gas fireplace for the cold winter nights. 45 minutes from Leavenworth and 20 minutes from Stevens pass to ski. New very comfy beds new wood floors and appliances. Gas grill on the deck with table and chairs that seat 6. View of the river from all windows. House is cool in the summer and toasty warm in the winter with 3 sources of heat. Truly a fun experience. In the summer the beach is a short walk down the street.We have Just add AC for comfort. And we add AC this summer so nice. Thanks, Judy

Summary: This property has a fabulous location overlooking the river. The outside deck and hot tub are great. The kitchen is a bit lacking in equipment. There is no electric tea kettle or any kettle to use on the stove. Also, there is no ice maker. The shower door wouldn't close. The sofas are good for young backs, not so much for us elders. We enjoyed the location the most.

Summary: perfect oasis just what we wanted. After some lack of knowledge with the propane the owners got us on track. The hummingbirds were our daily and welcome visitors. It was so nice just reading and relaxing on the deck. Thank you J & J for sharing with us. Sultan Bakery is definitely worth multiple visits.

Summary: Ths hot tub by the river was amazing. The neighborhood was super quiet. Walking down to the river to watch the salmon was super cool. The fireplace in the evening was nice and cozy. I loved the clawfoot tub in the loft bedroom. Its unique and cozy but just enough roughing it for me. We watched humming birds every day. It was a great mental reset and a close drive to town if needed. The host was super responsive and helpful if we needed anything and to answer questions about the area. We will stay again.

Summary: The house is in a great spot in regards to the river. It has neighbors that are very close on both sides of the house. The neighbors are not very neighborly. The view and access to the river are great. House was clean and had the majority of stuff we needed in it. I don't have anything negative to say. My group had a great and memorable time.
