Recreation bungalow de Duif stands on 550 m2 of private land and lies in the woods between Loenen and Beekbergen. The area of the Veluwezoom and the wide IJssel area are within walking distance and the Hoge Veluwe within cycling distance. Historic cities of Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Zuthpen and Deventer are within a radius of 25 kilometers.
Around the house is a beautifully landscaped garden. More than 200 perennials, shrubs and trees, of which 80 rhododendrons. From the living room you look out at a piece of (your) forest with squirrels, rabbits, thrushes, woodpeckers, treetops and tree crawlers, check marks, titmouse etc.
The house is in the Beekbergen forest park. Make (free) use of the park's indoor swimming pool. Go play tennis or cycle. Or good food and drinks in the Jachthuis restaurant. Also visit the wellness center. Activities for children during the school holidays.
Enjoy the complete interior, the beautiful floor tiles, the paintings, the beautiful wooden staircase and the void of this beautifully designed house.
In the summer you can relax on a rug in the grass or on a lazy chair on one of the two terraces. Because of the vegetation there is a lot of privacy.
And if it is a bit colder, then heat the (high efficiency) built-in fire. Bring wood or buy at the park.

Summary: The house is lovely overall. Very clean well decorated and in an attractive locale a few suggestions: we arrived late and the reception had closed. Had it not been for family living nearby in Beekbergen we would not have had any soap or towels until the following day. I contacted the owner who answered right away that in the Netherlands towels are not customarily provided. I wild suggest it would be a great thing if upon entering the house the bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with towels tea towels dish cloths and soap as a welcome packet. I was not expecting to have to pay an extra 60 euros just for towels. That would really give what otherwise I’d a beautiful property. We had a very good time here and really enjoyed renting the bikes. Greet idea!

Summary: We came for the wedding of our daughter. Thanks to the very cosy house, the friendly contact to the owner, the beautiful surroundings and the well organised kitchen, we had a wonderful family gathering! Take into account that two of the beds are bunk beds. It was a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

Summary: This home is bright and very roomy. We enjoyed sitting with our coffee on the patio in the morning and relaxing there again in the evening. It is a very central location for traveling in any direction. We would recommend this home to anyone.

Summary: The house is very nice. Enough room for everyone. The only problem we had was that the upstairs bathroom drain was clogged and there is mold on the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom

Summary: The house and property were very clean and well kept. Bedding and linens were basic with no frills. Beds were not the most comfortable but adequate. Luckily the owner had sent me an information sheet prior to our check in regarding the operation of various appliances as well as information about the park itself. Questions posed to the reception or check in were not clearly answered. We happened to be staying at the house during the hottest days of the summer of 2019. We had somehow misinterpreted the ad and thought the house was air conditioned, however the ventilation system was quite different than air conditioners in the United States. Luckily we weren’t at the house much during the daylight hours. The location is convenient, close to markets and restaurants.

Summary: Great home base for our vacation, the only thing we would suggest is that since the weather was cold we did not like the heat being turned down automatically at 10:00 pm & not on again until 7:30 am. It was very cool as we didn’t get to bed til midnight.
