Positive: The location was very quiet and spacious for our needs. The farmhouse was well appointed with plenty of blankets for beds and accessories in the kitchen.

Positive: Location was excellent for Ballendean, close to the only functioning eatery in town, and walk to general store and The Church wine project. Really comfortable, with all the amenities that you need. Gardens on-site were lovely.

Negative: Split system does not provide heat. Only the fireplace, which is fine for those staying in winter, but in Spring, when only the morning is cold, getting the fire going is too much work.

Positive: The house was spotless. Even though we didn’t use it, having the fireplace would be great in winter. Whilst the pub is in walking distance (200m) the cooking facilities had all that could be wanted for a couple of days or longer.

Positive: We were a group of 8 adults and 5 children. The stay had everything you would need for a holiday. Good beds, linen and towels. Plenty of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Games for kids and adults, TV, fireplace and piano. Multiple lounges and chairs in the lounge room. Heaps of outdoor settings front and back.

Negative: We felt some of the above were a little "dated" but hey when you have that many kids it really wasn't a problem.

Positive: What a fantastic little find this home was. The property was so clean and very well equipped for our large group. It was great to be able to walk across the road to the tavern/pub for a meal.
