Summary: Everything about this place was so amazing! The setup is so fun and unique with the bunkhouse being separated and the little lookout was the PERFECT spot to sit with friends and watch the sunsets/sunrises! My girlfriends and I had a beautiful weekend there and the hosts were awesome and very easy to get ahold of if we needed anything :) we will DEFINITELY be returning!

Summary: We had a great time! The property is a little off the beaten path, but it was so worth staying there. It is absolutely beautiful and the owners were great. It was the perfect fit for a weekend getaway with my best girl friends, away from kiddos and husbands 😆 Highly recommend this property!

Summary: Great place with cool decor. Quiet place away from the city although fairly close to Fredricksburg, etc. Gary was fantastic. The living room and the separate bunk houses were clean and comfortable. Great views and plenty of wildlife around the area. It was a great place for a little retreat with our family.

Summary: Nice, updated and scenic meeting area with convenient kitchen and utensils No TV though, in meeting area And bunkhouse was a bit inconvenient from the main meeting area, since weather was quite cold at that time This location was quite a ways off the beaten path and too a while to get back onto traveled roads when visiting places Host was excellent, responsive and very helpful Good stay overall

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here!! The property was so welcoming and clean. It is a bit out away from everything but we would def stay there again!! The style and decor were super cute!!

Summary: We all absolutely loved this house and property! So unique, warm, and welcoming. The layout was different, but so very cool and the design and setup of furniture was on point. Cozy country living for a few days, and it was amazing! Thank you for the hospitality and being easy to reach, Gary! Your place will be visited again, for sure!

Summary: The place was amazing! We loved the stylish vibe of The Retreat, but it was also very kid friendly. Our kids loved playing outside and gathering firewood for our nightly bonfires! Great Place and we would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The Retreat was exactly what we needed for my Mom's Birthday getaway! Gary and Kathy made it extra special; they had a cake and a note waiting for her! It was super clean and very roomy!
