Comfortably sleeps 18. Beautiful 3 story with unobstructed BEACH views. Modern kitchen, quartz counter tops and suite of Jenn-Air stainless appliances. Large master with Tempur-Pedic bed: wakeup and see the waves without even getting out of bed! Balcony off of master as well as living room. Just steps from the beach! Bunk room sleeps 6 kids with 2 bunk beds and 2 pull out trundles. 3rd floor setup as a game/movie room but will also sleep 2 on couch in addition to the blow up mattress. Additional 3 guestrooms include king bed, queen bed and murphy bed. Living room with couch and sleeper sofa. Access to all space except the garage and 2 owner's closets (inside). Pirates Beach West.
Beds: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 bunk beds with trundles (sleeps 6), Murphy bed, Sofa Bed, Queen air mattress, 2 couches.
Stocked with all the necessities: hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, paper towels and tp, beach towels, laundry detergent, coffee, etc.
Additional Kitchen Appliances: Keurig and Mr. Coffee brewers, air fryer, crockpot, toaster, pressure cooker, utencils, etc.

Summary: We rented this house for a large family gathering for Labor Day Weekend. We had kids ages 10-new born and eight adults. There was plenty of room for everyone and we felt it was a good set up for a family gathering. The kitchen/living area was a great spot for everyone to congregate! The house is a couple of minutes drive to the beach and a 5 min walk. There are no houses between the property and the beach so the views are amazing! The owner was very responsive to our inquiries about the area and house before and during our trip. Our only complaint was around the overall cleanliness of the house. When we arrived, the linens and towels were all clean but it felt as though no one had been there in a while. The windows and counters/surfaces could have used a little TLC. There were lots of scuffs of the walls and stains on the carpet upstairs. We just didn’t feel it accurately reflected the price we paid for the property. Other than that, it was a great stay. I would recommend for a laid back family gathering or large group of friends!

Summary: Great place and location. You can walk to the beach through the neighborhood. To drive to the beach is easy also access it right next to the neighborhood. A dollar general is on the other side of the street. Most places to eat were maybe 10 mins away.

Summary: We loved our stay here. Despite it being 100 degrees in Houston, the breeze from the back deck here was lovely and we were able to sit outside for hours during even the middle of the day. The stocked items such as paper towels, kitchen and laundry soap, beach towels, trash bags, bath soap and shampoo, etc all made arrival simple and so convenient. We used the grill and the inside was spotless and a joy to cook on especially with the supplied utensils and grill meat thermometer. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of cooking pots, pans, and utensils. It was also so nice to have the the ice and water dispenser on the fridge We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back.

Summary: Excellent location with private community beach. Very important at night--community folks mostly. 1st level porch view is mostly greenery and a slice of ocean which became important as the beach directly in front of the house aways is a public beach. So it was a lovely natural barrier. Everything was lovely. [could have had tinfoil and gallon baggies but hay!] Thank you To team Awavefromitall.

Summary: Property is great for big groups, close to the beach and owner was easy to work with! Only downside is one of the beds was broken, but I assume previous guests failed to share that with owner and believe would have been remedied if given the opportunity. We only stayed one night so wasn’t an issue for us.

Summary: Everything was perfectly thought out in this house. First off the house is beautiful. It was perfect for the size of my family. We loved the bonus of the theater room upstairs. It was perfect. The downstairs is so open and full of light. Perfect balcony with a hammock and a table to sit outside and eat. Fresh towels and linens ready to go. Absolutely beautiful neighborhood. I would definitely renting this house. You are close enough to the beach to walk. Excellent location to restaurants and everything you need. Over 5 star rating.

Summary: The property is in a great, private location in a super quiet and clean neighborhood. There is plenty of room for large parties to be comfortable and not feel crammed and right on top of each other. The view could not be any better. The view from the master is a dream…I was so sad to know I wouldn’t be waking up to that view after we left! The kitchen and living room space was absolutely perfect. It’s a huge space that makes hanging out with a large crowd very easy. We didn’t hang out outside because it was extremely windy that weekend, but it was a large open space, as well. A transformer blew because of the wind, and Rudy did a great job with communicating with us about when it would be repaired. We also had issues with not having enough sheets and our internet was pretty bad the whole time we were there, BUT Rudy was quick to get sheets out to us, and he kept working on the internet for us from his home and I believe he was trying to get it fixed by calling the internet provider. That kind of stuff really makes a difference for us. I’ve been to places that we needed help at, but we were left like sitting ducks. I was very appreciative of his diligence in trying to get us everything we needed. The only thing I was not pleased with was the cleanliness of the home. I had to wipe down the counters and vacuum the main floor and the second floor when I got there. Hair in the guest bathtub, which means the bath tub was not clean. I don’t think his cleaning staff was thorough at all. Also, random drawers had leftover things in it from previous guests I’m assuming? Hair products in the guest bathroom, junk in some drawers. That stuff needs to be taken care of and cleared out before the next guest arrives. The walls need some help (walls that have been hit, scraped and touched with greasy hands) and the carpets could use a shampooing since they’re stained in different places. These things can be easily fixed, and just need a little more attention, especially with the cleanliness of the home. Overall, I would recommend staying at A Wave From it All. It’s a perfect, quiet location and really great for large parties or just a couple of couples! We had a wonderful time and are grateful to Rudy for all the help during our stay.
