This beautiful fenced in Coastal home is Fully Handicap Accessible with an outside elevator. It is on a canal perfect for fishing in your own backyard as well as easy access to East Matagorda Bay via boat and Sargent Beach is less than 2 miles away. It has a large pier and fishing cleaning station perfect to clean your catch of the day. You can enjoy a lovely sunrise and sunset in the screened in porch. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with queen beds and a comfy sleeper sofa. A walk in shower in upstairs bathroom and a full bathroom downstairs with a full size refrigerator. There is plenty of space downstairs to BBQ and relax , and has a fully fenced in yard. Kayaking encouraged and are provided for your enjoyment, but please bring your own life jackets! There are crab traps to catch some delicious blue crab for dinner.

Summary: Very thankful to have a pet friendly handicap accessible rental. Of the beaten path with now much of a beach scene. Nice good choices, The Crab Trap, Smokey Joe's BBQ, Yoles Tacos and more and Bobbers ByTheSea. Also rental has all the needs to cook meals. I here the fishing is good of that's your thing.

Summary: The home is very comfortable and clean, easy to find and in a good location. The a/c worked wonderfully and the screened in porch is the perfect spot to hang out with a nice breeze. The tv with all the channel options was a nice treat too!

Summary: We absolutely loved this house and property! From start to finish was dreamy and perfect place for our honeymoon! Our next door neighbor was wonderful and informative. Our host was so sweet and had a bottle of champagne and 2 flutes waiting for us in the house. They were prepared and had us covered all the way! There wasn't anything they hadnt thought of. I wish i could give them 10 stars, because they absolutely deserve it. We will for sure be back to this house, and we want to experience the other houses they have as well. But i dont know if anything can top this house in particular! Thank yall so much!!!!

Summary: Overall the home was good. Very clean and easy to check in and out. As VRBO premiere hosts we approach rentals from a different point of view. The home is well appointed: could use a few more options on pans in the kitchen, could use an update to the beds and pillows and definitely needs an update to towels and more out for use. Use of washer and dryer would have been nice especially for a beach property where we had to bring our own towels. Five minute drive to the beach was nice. We were there for July 4 and practically had it to ourselves (exact reason we visited Sargent). Not a lot of choices for groceries, restaurants or entertainment like areas around Galveston or Port Aransas but feel like the locals like it that way. All in all a good visit.

Summary: We arrived to an excellently cleaned house with an exterior elevator which saved on unloading and loading to the upstairs location. Well furnished with furniture, but the beds were terrible, to the point we got up at 03:00 a.m. to strip off the mushy 3” foam pad and sleep with the sheet directly on the yellow stained mattress. The other room had bed issues too, but I’m not sure how they handled the problem. They were up and unable to sleep more, than down most of the nights. The air conditioning was excellent and the yard was well fenced. Bring a can opener and good knife as there was no can opener and the knives are cheap plastic flexible handles and blades. The old, old, old fry pan lost it’s Teflon coating about twenty years ago, but it still kind of fries, but the flexible plastic spatula flipper might bend to much to get the food unstuck from the pan bottom. Insect control was outstanding inside the house but beware of the screened in porch wicker furniture that has black Wolfe spiders hiding within. In closing I would recommend use of Downey to take the scratch out of the towels and a bar of soap would be nice, too. Fishing was nice from the wooden dock and the cleaning station was well lighted, but the underwater lights did no illuminate when energized. Nice breeze blows thru the clean shaded area under the house. Food at the little red BBQ trailer on the corner was really good and at a decent price. I both liked and disliked this property.
