Positive: We were welcomed so politely by the reception staff. Offered complimentary drinks at the bar. The bar staff were also lovely. Facilities were great. Although should hire out a lock for a low cost for the lockers as we didn’t have one.

Negative: The rooms were very small and compact. There was no plugs to the side of the bed which was an issue. All around the rooms / hotel it didn’t look clean around the skirting boards which I think is really important. Around the breakfast area by the drinks station it looked thick with dust. We also moved the beds and underneath there was bobbles and other objects that hadn’t been cleaned. We stripped the beds before departure and the sheets that are being used are covered in stains which didn’t feel nice knowing we had slept in that.

Positive: The food was amazing as always staff were so friendly too and the room was really spacious beds were comfy

Negative: I had my 12 week old boy in his pram because I thought the travel cot was a bit to low but that was just me personally and my boy is used to sleeping up higher in his moses basket/bassinet but apart from that everything was good

Negative: I asked for a double bed but it was 2 single beds put together. I did phone the hotel after the booking to check it was a double bed and was told it was but then when arriving at the hotel and room it was 2 single bed but overall it was a very nice stay

Negative: The room was in need of modernisation, windows were very drafty. The upgrade offered wasn't actually an upgrade, we chose to have evening meal but it wasn't an offer, it was just a way to get you to book to eat there, it was £25 paid up front to then be taken off the final bill. We also booked a treatment but didn't get what was booked. The staff accepted responsibility for both errors and offered a complimentary treatment and drink. This was still disappointing as we had booked for a relaxing weekend but had to complain about both which was very stressful.
