Positive: Lovely room with a large bathroom and the largest TV in Christendom. The lady on duty was excellent and was working extremely hard. There was a slight technical hitch with the booking but all sorted. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Excellent value for money.
Negative: Very bad signage on the outside which referred to the previous name of the establishment.

Positive: property itself is beautiful and staff were helpful.they hadn't long taken over the business and didn't have a licence so we were unable to get a drink from the bar on arrival, hopefully they have that sorted now as it was the only thing that let it down.

Positive: Quirky but brilliant, Mia the receptionist, was the most organised lady ever. Nice tempermnt, efficient and clean. Thank you Mia very much for a pleasant stay

Negative: The property maintains a lot of its original characteristics and charm. It’s clean and comfortable but would benefit from a general update and some modernisation to improve things like shower facilities etc.

Positive: We read the reviews before we went so weren’t disappointed when we got there. The bed was clean and comfy, the bathroom was clean. The room was warm. Breakfast was tasty, could have been warmer, but owner was eager to please. Location good, price decent. With a little work it could be perfect.
Negative: It was a bit ‘Fawlty Towers’, owner ran about at breakfast like a headless chicken. Breakfast was cold, sauces were branded but topped up with cheaper ones. The HP was actually BBQ! Pre-ordered 5 items, got 3 the first day and 4 the next two days. No option to change breakfast order, you choose what you want and the time you want it upon check-in, and get the same each day. Cereals weren’t as fresh as they could be. Rooms needed a good dust. Bath and bed clean, but ledges etc very dusty. Towels were grey (supposed to be white) and frayed and we didn’t use one as it was very stained.

Positive: Breakfast -better than my next two hotels! Location - noy ideal - as near as I could get to Radley - and a long way from anywhere where I could get an evening meal
Negative: My room was very cold when I arrived
