Summary: Awesome place! Very private with lake view and beach. The food from Felicitas is amazing. Definintely try the lunch and dinner options too. We look forward to coming back!

Summary: If your looking to get away from the busy life of the city or just looking for a quiet weekend away Pointe Carniel Lodge is really a must visit! Ron and Felicitas are some of the nicest and most helpful people hosts we've ever had! The cottage is situated down by the water over looking a beautiful view of the lake. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The wood burning fireplace was a really nice feature as it kept the whole cottage warm even in -30 weather. There was a huge stockpile of dry firewood just behind the cottage to keep the fire going at all times. The kitchen had electric stove tops which was great for cooking on. The whirlpool bathtub was a cool feature with again a great view of the lake. There is a big deck right outside the front door getting into the cottage. Ron and Felicitas where nice to provide us with a working BBQ and a full tank of propane to do some BBQ'ing on. The cottage was very cozy but with more than enough room for the two of us plus our two dogs! It was definitely everything we expected and more! The property was amazing! Lots of different trails throughout the property as we did lots of snowshoeing with our dogs and even got out on the lake! We definitely didn't have any shortage of snow! Our two dogs loved running around free and jumping into the snow banks! We got to get out and enjoy the beautiful sunny days we had taking in the white wonderland all around us! Ron and Felicitas also have 3 beautiful dogs of their own which my two had a blast running around playing with! Overall this trip was definitely the experience we where looking for and can't wait to return in the summer months! Thank you Ron and Felicitas for sharing your beautiful cottage with us and for the above and beyond hospitality you both provided and we will definitely see you two for a return visit in the summer! Summary: Felicitas' home is very cozy with a wonderful view off the porch. Having a beach to ourselves was a luxury. Very clean as well. Their dogs come over to say hi which was a treat for us as they are very calm and friendly. Washroom doesn't have a door so we would coordinate as necessary. Perfect stay for getting the benefits of privacy and mature with modern comfort.

Summary: This was a great spot very private. takes a little drive to get to from paved roads. once there the cottage was a great spot. You have your own private beach. The deck on cottage is great you can hang out there and cook on bbq next to it. or sit in the covered gazebo. great amenities for cooking, and relaxing in the cottage lovely bathroom with tub you can look out on the river. Felicita and Ron are great hosts. came to get us when we got lost trying to get to cottage. that was my fault I missed a turn. if we needed help with anything they were there. place is private they give you your privacy but are there to help if need be. I will be back

Summary: Felicitas is the kindest most welcoming person. The food was amazing and everything felt so nice, private and cozy. Everything was very clean and there were lots of small touches that made the experience that much more enjoyable. The lake is a beautiful bonus with a great sandy beach. We will definitely be returning here.
