Summary: It is a lovely, secluded property that could accommodate us all. It was well-appointed, including everything one might need. Check in and check out were easy, and the host responds quickly. I specifically looked for a property with a pool and this is listed with a pool--it actually has a small cool/cold spring-fed "hole" (maybe 7'x7')--if you go in, I recommend shoes, the silt is a little unnerving.

Summary: Loved our stay here, close enough to town but far enough to feel like a real retreat. Hosts were quick to respond with any questions and property was just as described in the listing. Would stay here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful nice short little getaway here! It was a very relaxing 2 days! Loved all the natural light from all the windows! Also, a very well equipped kitchen for cooking. Sadly, it rained the entire time, but we very much enjoyed the gas firepit under the covered porch and the hottub as well under a covered porch. We were able to bring our 2 dogs, which was wonderful as well. They enjoyed the time as much as we did! Thank you both for being very accommodating!

Summary: It was an unusually cold winter and the pipes froze. Scott left his vacation early to come help us. Even though it was tough circumstances, he worked hard to make it work as best as possible!! We’ll definitely come back but in the summer, ha!

Summary: I so loved my stay at the Mountain Art House! I needed a break from the stresses of life and I found it! And close enough to the restaurants, galleries, etc., of Asheville to easily enjoy, but out of the way enough to feel like I had my own nature refuge in the mountains! The house was beautifully appointed with everything I might need. It was a joy to stay here! This is my second time here, and can't wait to return again!
