Time slows down in this peaceful setting at the end of a cul-de-sac which makes this one of the most quiet and private places on the lake. The property is located on quiet and private cul-de-sac and features sweeping Southern views looking down the Lake.
The open floor plan features cathedral ceilings with floor to ceiling doors leading out to a large deck with incredible views. This main level boasts a spacious living room with 2 comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV, sound bar speaker, a dining area with a large table that seats 6. There is also a bedroom (2 twin beds), bathroom and kitchen on this level.
The second floor has hard wood floors, a master bedroom with a queen bed and large windows overlooking the lake, and a loft with 2 twin beds.
Watch the Sunset with a glass of wine from the large deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the large lawn that gently slopes to a custom built boat dock and deck that provides easy access to swimming. Level fire pit with plenty of seating.

Located on "perch bay" one of the best best fishing areas on the lake. The dock has a boat lift in case you bring or rent a boat.

Summary: Excellent everything: location, views, amenities, etc. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Great deck with lots of seating. Great dock for boats. Plenty of parking a plus. Nice to have AC too.

Summary: Thought this was going to be an up scale rental.... it is NOT. place was over run with spiders ,ants in the kitchen, filthy upstairs windows with clouded sliders and a screen door that kept coming off the track. spent part of the vacation cleaning. and to top it off this area of the lake is choked with invasive weeds so swimming wasn't possible. Not a good value for the $$$$. The weed situation should be disclosed to renters.

Summary: Great little camp on the lake. Nice view, clear water and lots of fish. Lots of dust bunnies and spider webs inside the house. Water pressure terrible. Overall good experience

Summary: Nothing beats the views and multiple outdoor spaces. Great little swimming area at base of lawn that is easy to get in and out of. Charming firepit patio perfect for family time together. Views from deck and upstairs bedroom are gorgeous (so nice to look out the window of bedroom and see moon reflecting on lake, framed by pine trees!). Just a few miles from two restaurants with plenty of outdoor seating and downtown Castleton and Poultney both offer other options. Interior has all the basics, nothing fancy but we were there to be outside and enjoy Vermont.

Summary: This property and views are beautiful and private. We really enjoyed the awesome double dock with lounging deck and we loved the fire pit setup. We enjoyed almost all of our meals outside on the spacious deck. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of kitchenware. The owners were so easy to communicate with and were right over with propane when we ran low for the grill. We also enjoyed the convenience of being able to park behind the house. It made packing and unpacking a breeze unlike some lake homes. This part of the lake itself is pretty quiet. Some motor boats but not too many. Great for kayaking. Although this home sleeps 6 and has 3 sleeping areas, it felt much larger because of the cathedral ceilings and big windows. My husband and I took the downstairs bedroom near the bathroom which had more privacy and let our teen have the whole upstairs with a couple of friends. It was quiet with our fan on and convenient for us, and they had a ball. Exactly what we were looking for! We brought our own fan but didn’t need it because there were plenty there. If you would like to rent a boat, I would recommend you reserve one from the local marina before you arrive. We were lucky to have found this last minute gem because of a last-minute cancellation but boat availablility was 3-4 weeks out. So plan accordingly. Despite this, we had so much fun here. Being on the east side was a huge plus because of the extended sun in the evenings, and some pretty incredible sunsets! So relaxing and beautiful. We would highly recommend this lake house!

Summary: It was all that was promised! Clean, comfortable, well stocked with supplies, paper products, misc spices, and was also well stocked with games. It can get a little warm upstairs so bring an extra fan, although they supply a good variety of fans too!
