Summary: Very comfortable home in a perfect location near the medical center

Summary: Arrived finding no power in house due to a recent storms which had come through the area, Garvin graceously came over to get backup generator started and it would not start. Garvin worked with the power company multiple times trying to get power back on, but when we left late in the evening there still was no power and we ended up staying in a local hotel. Of course power did come on after we left, but due to other things that happened while in the house (found a roach) we never actually stayed in the house. We contacted VRBO before leaving house and requested a full/partial refund, which was declined.

Summary: We enjoyed the opportunity to stay in house where we could have dinner with the whole family. The host was responsive to questions, which was very helpful. If you need accommodations in easy walking distance of Rice, this is perfect.

Summary: This is a nice house in a nice neighborhood very close to Rice and the Medical Center. The place was very spacious and clean, and the host was very nice, responsive, and helpful. It really felt like a comfortable family home rather than a place created and staged for short-term rental, which I appreciated. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the place is nicely furnished and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again!

Summary: The property is spacious and well furnished. We were there during the recent heat wave and drought. The AC units took a while to cool the house down, but once there it remained cool. The property owner was helpful throughout our stay.
