Positive: Breakfast nothing requested was too much. I love the fruit and yoghurt. The personal touch to demonstrate the history of the place was lovely. Really felt welcome to use the facilities and make ourselves at home.

Negative: The bedroom was dark and no hanging. Wardrobe space. Not sure about flimsy see through ensuite bathroom. The hot tub was in need of a clean.

Summary: Really interesting and lovely- felt looked after but left to do our own thing.

Positive: Ines was super friendly and warmly welcomed us. The open space commun room is amazing. The décoration and house style is fantastic. The house is surrounded by water and wonderfull gardens. Very restfull place close to the Pombal castle.

Positive: We enjoyed every minute of it. We had the chance to meet the owner which gave us a tour around the place explaining its history and giving us samples of multiple plants around the place. This is not your average accommodation, you can truly feel the passion he has for this project. Indeed a great experience.

Positive: Beautiful place surrounded by serene nature. Delicious personalised breakfast and lunch/dinner upon request made with fresh vegetables from the garden. Jacuzzi on the terrace. Ines, Carlos and Fernando are very friendly and also give you a tour to tell a unique story of the place. It's a place unlike others, with real heritage and soul. And make sure to book a massage - it's done in the forest, by the pond, and felt like a real treat!
