Entire 2 story cabin (and hot tub) is yours alone....Additional living space completely remodeled offering additional vaulted living (man cave/she shed): Open, airy, sun-filled; kitchenette w/ full size SS refrigerator, copper kitchen sink, hickory cabinets, new electric cooktop, new oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, organic ground coffee, plush & comfy seating, large flat screen 4K satellite TV; WiFi; cozy, free standing fireplace/stove; privacy fence w/ new, outdoor 6 person Hot Spring Spa (high-end brand hot tub) off new Trex deck in back. New SS outdoor propane grill; propane provided. Views of wildlife walking by in the day and dark starry skies at night.
BIGHORN ANNEX is a classic vintage 2-story cabin (two private bedrooms, each with own en suite full bathroom and private entrance) located in the Chalk Creek Valley adjacent to the State Wildlife Viewing Meadow and only 3 miles to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and less than 5 miles from hiking and ATV trail-heads. This comfortable cabin is your year-round base camp with convenience to everything Colorado country. Breathe in some cool, crisp mountain air on your private deck overlooking meadows of aspen and pine. Chill out in the new Hot Springs brand hot tub with lounger. Read a good book on your custom chenille reading chairs or out on the deck, soak in the nearby hot springs, fish at Chalk Lake less than a mile up the road, hike the nearby Colorado Trail or historic railway grade, jeep or ATV the Hancock and Tincup trails, visit the historic mining ghost town of St. Elmo, white water raft down the Arkansas River minutes away, horse back ride a few miles down the road, hunt for gems up Mt. Antero, or experience the incredible drive up to the top of the Continental Divide at Cottonwood Pass at 12,126 feet in elevation.
*One bedroom and one en-suite bathroom on each level. Private upper level access via exterior stairway.
*Hot tub is cleaned and sanitized between each guest reservation by a professional hot tub contractor, not the housecleaner.

Summary: Stayed here with my parents and it served us well as home base for a few days of fly fishing and sightseeing. Great location with river, stream, and lake fishing options within a short drive. Historic St Elmo is just up the road, and the meadow for wildlife viewing across the road from the cabin is a nice bonus. We spent time there several evenings and saw deer nearly every day, a coyote, and about a dozen bighorn sheep.

Summary: Great venue. Clean. Clear instructions except the fees and extra person charges will nearly double the charges if you sleep five. Wonderful hot tub. The hotplate is pretty anemic. The gas grill was great. Only one garbage bag provided. No decent kitchen knives. Would stay there again. We had a great time.

Summary: This cabin was great ! Check in was easy. Location was central to activities, or just hanging out. It was clean and had everything we needed. Views were good, hiking and fishing were nearby. Absolutely no complaints!

Summary: I wish I had known that the upstairs bedroom with the King size bed was not connected to the other rooms. You had to use an outside staircase to go to the other bedroom and common space. My daughter has a medical condition that requires intervention at night and we would have to get dressed and go outside, down the stairs and then use the passcode to get in to the lower level rooms. It is a beautiful property and the location was ideal. Jean is very communicative. I just didn’t understand that the bedrooms did not have connection. Thank you!

Summary: The property is in a beautiful location just a short drive from Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and nestled in between towering 14’ers. The property was well-marked and easy to find. It was stocked with the amenities we needed including pots, dishes, and cleaning supplies. Overall, the trip was fantastic.
