Summary: Room was really comfortable even if it was not so big. It was clean.Breakfast was very nice.The view was amazing.

Summary: I gave up having dinner in the hotel. In my four years experience the meals are excellent and very refined but the tables are too close to one another. The last meal I had a couple speaking at the top of their voice on the left and an old guy blowing his nose and sneezing the whole time on the right. I was practically unable to entertain any form of conversation with my wife. To top it all I was served a half cooked pidgeon which I had to send back. An unpleasant evening! Apart from these inconveniences the hotel is very pleasant and I will probably go back next year. I was told it will be opening a new dining quarter and if the tables are within reasonable distance, I will try the restaurant again.

Summary: My children and I stopped over in Bard for one night after travelling from Chamonix and loved this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff all very kind and welcoming. We were travelling by train and it was just a short walk over the river from the station. After we checked out, the hotel stored our luggage for us whilst we visited the fort and then we collected our bags on the way back to the station. It was the perfect stopover and I would definitely recommend Ad Gallias.
