Positive: Room is clean and cozy, bed is very comfortable
Negative: Bathroom has hot shower but the water system could be fixed… when I arrive I try to ask her for information about how transportation. As she did not speak English I reach for my phone to translate and she instantly shouted and left me. She disappeared I never saw her again.

Positive: the only positive note is the kindness of the girl who prepared the room for us, but in the other homstay to which they diverted us. she had to do it quickly, because she was taken by surprise, and she did what she could
Negative: once we arrived on site, a very nervous gentleman told us that the structure is "temporarily" closed and annoyed took us to another homestay we had booked and paid in advance but he seemed surprised to see us! then we had to wait (in the cold) for them to arrange a place for us: not a nice way to do

Positive: Great location for bromo and view point, 1hr walk in the morning. Really friendly hosts. The resteraunt also Haa good breakfast. Nice hot shower.
Negative: It was quite damp in the air in the room but kind of to be expected in a village spending alot of time in cloud.

Positive: The location is great. You can walk to the Bromo crater as the homestay is near the top of the ridge. The staff were friendly and helpful in coordinating my pickup in the morning. The room was okay. For the price, I wasn't expecting too much. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was okay.
Negative: I found the air quite stuffy and someone was smoking nearby in the evening. I didn't have a fan or window.
Summary: Good location, okay for one night.

Positive: Ideal situation, 5 minutes from the caldera Clean, and hot water 200m from main road, means calm And nice view from the bench on the terrace Plus : a lot of help from the manager, to organise the trip, with friendly and clear communication

Positive: The staff was helpful when we asked for extra blankets. Everything was in walking distance. And the view was amazing!
Negative: It was extremely cold, we couldn't close the bathroom door, the towels smelled used and the window of the bathroom was broken. We had to turn on the boiler to run the tap and flush and then the shower leaked.
