Summary: We requested to book; host responded "I will review your request and will come up an answer". About 24 hours later, I asked when she might have an answer. My husband was staying due to a work project nearby. The listing does not state there is an alarm system to be used upon arrival and during your stay. No mention in earlier auto messages that check in info would be sent via text 2 hours before check in. We received a check in email from Vrbo the night before. Those codes and instructions were wrong. Again, no mention of an alarm system. It took a couple of text messages & a phone call to get the proper info while my husband waited outside. There was a language barrier with the host. Inside: the space is connected to a garage. Looks newly completed. Not very warm and welcoming, very little furniture for the space. A couch and a small tv. A few throw rugs to take the chill away from the flooring (over concrete) would be nice. The burners in the kitchen were expected and worked fine. There is one small frying pan and several pots. No basics like salt and pepper. They did provide ground coffee. Two 120volt cadet heaters for the 800+/- square feet. They worked fine; just aren't enough for that size space. 240volt or mini splits would be more efficient & provide warmth & A/C. It was very cold every morning. The toilet rocks and needs to be removed, resealed and caulked around the base for stability. The price was average for the area; low cleaning fee. Served the purpose.

Summary: This property was not ready to be listed for guests. It looked like an old storage shed that was renovated. The renovation materials and trash were in the garage including soiled linens. The bed did not have a box spring. There was a mattress propped up on wooden slats and you could see the floor between the wood. There was a hotplate in the kitchen but no countertops. We were able to see outside through the cable outlet in the living room. The seal under the front door was not good, we were also able to see outside. It was cold and there were no extra blankets. I made a request to the host but did not receive any. I have pictures to support this review if needed.
