Positive: The host was very friendly, he recommended us a lot of great restaurants and points of attraction. The house was very clean and the host/ designer paid attention to every little detail. Decorations are great! The host arranged for car rental, very convenient because he called it at the guesthouse. Breakfast was also really good and home-made all fresh pastries. Thanks for a great stay !!

Positive: Aethrio has a perfect location, right by the port of Souvala and just 10 minutes from Aegina’s main port. The staff are lovely and very friendly, and the apartment is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Aegina!

Positive: We had a wonderful stay here! The location is very central, which made it so easy to explore everything. The hotel is beautifully decorated, especially with the amazing cacti all around. Our room was spacious with a fantastic balcony to relax on. Waking up every morning to the smell of freshly baked cake was such a delightful experience. Everything was clean and well kept, and the warm hospitality of the owner made us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!😌

Negative: For better hygiene in the shower area, having a shower door instead of a curtain might be a better option. ✨

Positive: This place is excellent! A lot of small beaches nearby if you walk by foot, restaurants too. The hotel is classy, with clean, bright rooms and good interior. The breakfast is great too. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, true hosts! Overall we are very satisfied and we will be coming back to this place.

Positive: Aethrio Guesthouse was perfect for our 5 night stay in Aegina. Easy to find, very near the shops and cafes of Souvala, with a lovely, quirky vibe. Very nice, kind owner and a delicious breakfast with a mix of cooked food and pastries. I highly recommend this Guesthouse and I highly recommend Souvala as the place to stay. Aegina Town is nice but very busy and touristy. Souvala is a proper place with real shops, cafes and restaurants. Also, the beach in Souvala is much nicer than in Aegina Town. You only have to buy a coffee for 4 Euros and you can use the sunbeds and shades all day.

Negative: If you want to see all the sights and ruins, you may want to hire a car. There are busses going all round, but they don't run late. We found it OK, as we've seen a million ruins, so we weren't too bothered. So we got the bus to Aegina Town when we wanted to go somewhere, and got a (very cheap) taxi back to Souvala later in the day.

Summary: Wonderful place to stay on the lovely island of Aegina.
