The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators).
This is a hotel room with a queen bed and a twin bed, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and private bath with a shower (no tub). This room faces the San Miguel River.
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.

Summary: EASY ACCESS TO THE RIVER AND DOWNTOWN. OLDER PROPERTY, STAFF NOT VERY FRIENDLY. NOT SO AFFORDABLE. VERY SMALL VIEW OF THE RIVER.

Summary: we enjoyed walking to the town center on a beautiful path along the river. Check in was easy and enjoyable. The accommodations were clean but needed some updating. Nice view on the 2nd floor of the pines and river. The room was more on the order of a motel room, so somewhat pricey but we would stay there again.

Summary: This was a great location to downtown Telluride!!! Easy to walk everywhere in town. Clean, quiet, and affordable! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Telluride!
