Great place to stay, however the hot tube could be updated. Don't get me wrong, we still enjoyed the hot tube!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved Foxwood. Beautiful, private and peaceful. Have been coming to Old Timberline for years but my husband hadn’t. He’s been there twice and is completely in love with it. To the point we’re looking at coming 4 times a year! We did forget to run the dishwasher so we apologize for that :-( but the overall experience was priceless. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

The house looked exactly like the photos! It was very clean. We loved the location of the house. It is very secluded so it is extremely quiet and peaceful, serene and peaceful. The hot tub on the back deck was wonderful on the cool mornings. This is a place that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a few days.

We got snowed in with 24 inches of snow but we enjoyed our weekend here. Some minimal upgrades to the cabin would be great but overall a nice home!

Summary: The cabin itself was great. We read a lot of the reviews and the description of the property which I would say was pretty accurate. The property the home is in is absolutely beautiful. The fishing spots were amazing. The cabin itself could do with a good cleaning. We had an issue with ants in the kitchen so we cleaned everything up that was in the sink and ran the disposal that had food in it still. That took care of the problem for the most part. Otherwise we loved this cabin and would definitely stay there again.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at Foxwood. The proximity to Dolly Sods was amazing---we hiked there everyday we were there. It was a 5-minute drive to amazing hikes where we saw few people. The house was clean and the kitchen had many, many things! Also, I've stayed at many VRBOs and things like dirty potholders gross me out. There was nothing like that here! Everything in the kitchen was clean and ready to use! I also loved all the hooks! VRBOs rarely have hooks and it's so nice to be able to hang up damp hiking gear, etc. Just 2 suggestions: 1. Figure out the musty smell in the downstairs hall/bedroom. It was really the only thing that might keep us from staying there again....and we probably would stay anyway since none of us have allergies. 2. Is there a way to allow guests to turn on/off the hot tub filter jets? While we enjoyed it and loved that it was super clean, I would have loved to be able to listen to the woods/creek nearby more often, but the hot tub was on a timer and the noise drowned out the forest sounds. But, overall, we would recommend this place and stay there again.

Summary: Property was nice does need some upgrades, loved the hot tub, and dog friendly places and how the deck had gates, and dogs loved the dog door to go out on the deck, and loved the fox theam threw out the house.
