Welcome to Agency Narrows Bay!
A vacationer’s dream located on Agency Bay on Leech Lake just 10 miles outside of Walker. We’re excited to host you in our 3 bedroom home situated perfectly to enjoy a wonderful view from a large raised patio while offering a walkout basement with easy access to the lake. A large flat tree tree-covered yard offers space for yard games, or just enjoying the view. An intentionally gradually sloped path to the lake The public boat access is 1.2 miles from our property. Upon entering our home, you’ll notice a unique yet functional layout. Our spacious entry makes way to a full bathroom, two bedrooms, and a bedroom with 2 twins. Two bedrooms offer sliding patio door access to a large raised patio and beautiful views of Leech Lake. Additionally, both bedrooms have king size beds and have a TV along with ample dresser space. Between both bedrooms is a stairway leading to the open-concept kitchen, dining room, and living area. The kitchen comes with all the essentials and plenty of counter space. Our dining room table has space for 6 guests with ample common space for many more. A foosball table in the sun porch.
The living room boasts a gas fireplace, comfy couches, and an assortment of books and games for you to enjoy. Just off of the living room is a queen bed tucked away in a perfect nook for just a nice secluded place to sleep. One of our favorite features about this home is the 3 season patio, perched perfectly atop the hill to enjoy a wonderful lake view and built-in grill. Just outside of the three seasons is a flat landing offering space for games, lounging, or just hanging out. This makes way to our gradual sloped path to the lake, where you’ll find a hard bottom swimming area and a brand new dock that is available for you to use. The home comes fully stocked with all the essentials and supplies needed to accommodate 6-8 guests including plates, glassware, silverware, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and hand soap. We have a toaster, a blender, a crock pot, and a coffee maker. Even a Margarita Machine for making a frozen drink to enjoy on the dock or around the campfire! There is a unique cannon replica on the property to take photos with. (Please do not climb) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Book your stay and come relax!

Summary: Great location for Leech Lake! Cabin is right in the middle of 3 public Lake access that enter at different points of the lake. Cabin was clean but not prepped for our arrival. Beds are very firm as we are a plush type of mattress people. The cabin had a band-Aid or very clinical smell to it. The local town was very cute and we enjoyed ourselves there! Lots of great little restaurants and shopping! Thank you for the use of your cabin we enjoyed ourselves.

Summary: I want to give this property a higher rating because the actual house, lot and views are great. However, our trip didn’t start off well, unfortunately. When we checked in, it appeared that the previous guests had followed all check out instructions because no one had been over to clean after the previous guests. The towels were balled up in the bathrooms and the sheets were stripped on top of the beds. The floors were incredibly dirty and the oven had burnt, baked on food covering the inside. There was hair in the sinks and showers from the previous guests. After a 6 hour drive with a toddler and excitement about vacation, it was stressful and disappointing to have to start loads of laundry just so we could sleep at some point. We also had to scrub the oven before being able to cook dinner for a starving crew. The management company was quick to respond, apologize and try to problem solve what went wrong with the cleaning company. We were refunded our cleaning fee and someone stopped out on our 2nd day to provide clean towels and sheets, extra toilet paper, & dishwasher and laundry detergent and clean the floors but it never felt truly inviting and clean for the week. Our favorite spot of the property is the brand new dock with table and chairs with a due west view of the gorgeous sunsets. We were also able to see all of the fireworks shows for the 4th. The house is comfortable with lots of different areas to hang out and unwind.

Summary: A beautiful comfortable private home right on the Agency Bay Narrows, so the lakeis just the right size and the very comfortable dock faces directlywest for gorgeous sunsets! Very Clean. Most sleeping bedrooms upstairs and kitchen and living room/porch on the lower level. So peaceful and the loons were very talkative!! We would definitely go back. Our only concern was getting in the front door code when we got there. Had been given the wrong code by the local managers.
