Positive: The house was located in the countryside close to Noto, Modica and Ragusa. It was very tranquil and there were 2 friendly farm dogs on the property. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool in the garden was gorgeous, and there were loungers and towels provided for the poolside. Our host Giancarlo was very hospitable and friendly - as well as a fantastic chef. We had the privilege of eating his delicious home grown and local foods each evening as well as a farmhouse breakfast each morning. Giancarlo was exceptionally kind to us - when our rental car developed a flat tire he took us to the local tire depot, then when a replacement tire was unavailable he spent most of the day on the phone to Budget for us co-ordinating a pick up truck, a taxi back to the airport and a new car replacement at the airport (roadside assistance was useless). He went beyond expectations. Thank you Giancarlo.
Negative: The bed and pillows were a bit hard.

Positive: We love staying in old properties with wonderful character even if the comfort levels go down, but this place was wonderful and the host charming and helpful. The pool was a bonus.
Negative: Breakfast was delicious as well, so cannot think of any way to improve this accommodation.
Summary: Just what we wanted and it was superb .

Positive: We stayed at Giancarlo's for four nights, and it felt like we were staying at a friend's place. He was very hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, delicious ricotta, and filled cornettos that he would get from the bakery every morning (my favorite was the ricotta filled one). The house itself is beautiful as well, and in a good location to explore the Ragusa and Siracusa areas. Moreover, we had booked dinner for the first night of our stay there, and that was a feast. Home cooked Sicilian food with seasonal ingredients prepared by Giancarlo himself -- the kind of food that you're unlikely to find at any restaurant. All of it was paired with an excellent bottle of wine. My favorite dish was the ragu, but everything was great. If you stay there, make sure to ask to dine there once. Grazie mille Giancarlo.

Positive: From the moment we arrived, Giancarlo made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. The farmhouse itself is a beautiful blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The grounds are equally lovely, with room have plenty of space, well-maintained swimming pool and relax amidst picturesque countryside views. Giancarlo was the epitome of a perfect host. He was full of great tips and accommodating but also genuinely friendly and attentive to our needs. Whether it was offering insightful tips on local attractions or ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, their hospitality exceeded our expectations. The location is another highlight. It served as an ideal base for exploring the surrounding towns and attractions (Modica/Ragusa/Siracusa/etc). With Modica just a short drive away, we were able to easily visit shops, restaurants, and fascinating historical sites. In summary, our stay was wonderful. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with warm, welcoming host and convenient access to explore the best of the region, look no further
