Negative: Our stay was highly disappointing and certainly not worth the 200 euro/night. The experience was poor from start to finish: Poor Room Design: The lighting is inadequate, making it impossible to get ready. The layout is awkward, with the shower positioned behind the bed, and the duplex space is uninviting and useless. Also it wasnt so clean as we would expect. Appalling Breakfast: A complete failure. We were ignored by staff, basic items like plates and cheese and boild egg were missing, and the produce looked unwashed and unappetizing. Our requests were completely ignored. Unpleasant Atmosphere: The location is inconvenient and not worth the effort, and the entire lobby carries a persistent, unpleasant smell of vinegar. This was an embarrassing experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Positive: Everything about our experience at Opera 02 was perfect and well managed. The staff were attentive but also relaxed. The wellness centre was gorgeous and we had the place to ourselves most of the time. I think it helped we visited during the weekday and not peak season. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and theres a lovely walk to a nearby village. We also did a balsamic vinegar tour and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The food and especially the buffet breakfast was exceptional. Truly a special experience!

Negative: Food wasn’t quite as good as the last time we visited. Smaller, less tasty portions. Still the same fantastic panorama and a new delicious Metodo Classico🥂
