Positive: Everything was perfect. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. They catered to anything and everything. The place was beautiful and catered to all the needs. Ashley was very responsive to messages and calls. If you are looking for a place to stay in Trou d'eau douce, it has to be AHAVAH

Positive: very friendly and helpful host, always available, very flexible in arranging things for us. Nicely decorated and spacious room, everything working well, room was very clean. Secure parking in the yard. Very quiet at night, very comfy and large bed. Good wifi, large TV with various channels incl. Netflix Lovely and fairly empty beaches within a 10 minute drive

Negative: Dogs in the neighbourhood are a bit annoying when walking to restaurants at night

Positive: Solo traveller, it was the perfect stay. Hosts were outstanding, super friendly and helpful and could not do enough. Room is really nice, extremely clean and spacious with everything you need. They provided a delicious breakfast every morning with super fresh items. Would stay again 100%

Negative: Location is ok, some people wouldn't like that you have to walk through some streets past stray dog to get to main street. For me it was fine, I thought it added character to the experience.

Summary: Extremely nice hosts, excellent room, recommend!

Positive: We stayed in the two-person apartment and liked it a lot. The apartments are located on the first floor facing west. The house is very close to the center of the village, but still in a green area and quiet. Parking is easy. The apartment as well as the bed are very spacious. Super clean. Additionally, the hosts made sure all the essentials are there, eg mosquito coil. The breakfast was great too! What is especially nice is the hosts being available and giving lots of great tips via Whatsapp. One could really feel how important our wellbeing was to them. Would definitely stay here again!

Negative: The only downside we could find was the positioning of the AC units outside. For both apartments they are right above the outside seating space on the terrace and noisy. This means, when you come back from a day trip and the apartment is super hot, it’s not nice to relax on the terrace and wait until the AC cooled down the room a bit. Our neighbours had their AC on all time, which also made it hard for us to find tranquility on the outside.

Positive: Ashley,Marshall and staff could not be more hospitable. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The fresh bread in the morning is a lovely touch. They set up a WhatsApp group chat so we could contact them at all times. Their restaurant recommendations were amazing. We would highly recommend.

Negative: Nothing. We didn't want to leave. Home from home.
