Summary: Basic hotel, which was all we needed. Two of the three nights, we complained (around midnight) about the noise from the room above us. The second time, we were told the room was being vacated so no further problems. They said they would refer to the General Manager to provide a discount to us for the nuisance. On check out, we were told the GM hadn’t yet responded so I paid in full and awaited hearing about the refund. After two days, I emailed the property but it’s now five 5 days and no response!

Summary: The room was clean and it was great that there were three bedrooms to fit our family, for a great price! As far as what could be improved, you could tell that it was dated and the blinds definitely need to be fixed in the rooms. Also, the main room cooler didn’t work, so the room was hot all night, and it was a little weird that we had to go to Best Western down the street to check in, swim, and eat breakfast. Overall it was a good experience.

Summary: Aiken's Lodge is an older property, but you just can't beat parking outside your door. The motel is reminiscent of the 60's. But it is clean, the price is reasonable, and a very convenient location. All amenities are available a block away at the "sister" property, including breakfast. Yes, I would stay here again.

Summary: Well, first off, there wasn't anyone at the hotel to check in with. Just a note that said they would be back at 420pm This was at 440pm.After checking with an adjacent business, we found out that we had to check in at the best western down the street. After check in, we tried to get the air conditioning to regulate to no avail. Finally turned it to fan only then got up during night to turn the temp back down. Frustrating. The room itself was clean but a little dated.

Summary: There was no one at the hotel to check you in. It was 95 degrees out, so my husband drove me to their sister hotel to check in. The lady at reception was very brusk and didn't see why I had a problem with not being able to check in at my hotel. I was informed upon check in that the pool was not open, and that I could use the pool there. I was not up for a walk down main street in my bathing suit ... Got my keys, the room was cute, bed was comfortable, outdoor furniture was dirty - so I put a towel over it to sit. The shower is the original tile, which was cute, but was dirty/moldy looking. My husband showered and said it was hard to get the water temp right and the pressure cut in and out. The toilet needs to be updated to one that an average sized adult can sit comfortably on. Where is the cute old fashioned vehicle from the pictures, we missed the turn looking for it! Cute concept, lacking execution.

Summary: Aiken's is a go-to stop for me in Kanab. I really should give them 5 stars, but I don't because checking in, breakfast, and the amenities are actually a block away at the sister hotel. I am grateful Aiken's offers them, though. Otherwise, I'm always happy with my room, and staff go out of their way to be helpful.

Summary: Clean room, looking simple but neat. Only downside is that when your neighbours walk with a heavy step, your room shakes. Breakfast a bit basic but great location and friendly staff.

Summary: The room was great, the place was quiet and clean. HOWEVER! i called the motel several times to tell them we might be coming in around 8 or 8:30 pm. No answer. Then we got to the motel and learned why, no one was there?? the instructions on the door said go 500 ft west to the BEST WESTERN and they will have your key? we did. At the BW they said come here in the morning for breakfast and to drop your key off. We liked the Aiken, we could stay there again, now we know the details.

Summary: The property has rustic charm and clean for being older. The staff was located at Best Western which was just down the street and they were nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
