Positive: This is a fabulous modern studio in older building with an elevator in the center of a great neighborhood of Lyon. It's a short walk to the Perrache train station and next to a Metro station with many restaurants, cafes and shops in the immediate area. It is also two blocks from Lyon's small Christmas market. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the Nespresso coffeemaker. All the appliances including the heaters worked well. There was a grocery store right across the street. I didn't do much cooking beyond breakfast because I wanted to try restaurants in Lyon but there seemed to be enough cookware and dishes for meal preparation as well as a dishwasher. Marie, the property manager was very helpful and provided detailed instructions to location the keys and access the apartment as well as other information about the area. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Lyon.

Summary: Lovely, well-equipped, quiet, comfortable studio in the heart of the Ainay neighborhood of Lyon.

Positive: Great location, you're in the middle of everything and metro station is literally on the front door! There is a supermarket on your front door for everything you need. Bed is very comfortable, this is a very rare thing in rental houses. A very convenient house, you've most of the needs in the house. cutlery, kettle, coffee machine, microwave even a dishwasher and a washing machine. Marie is a wonderful hostess and always reachable.

Negative: Some recommendations to improve an already great experience: there are only 2 bath towels, no head or hand towels. Some more towels can be added. Place was a bit dusty and there were some hair on the floor, maybe a bit more care for cleaning.

Summary: Great house, if available BOOK IT RIGHT NOW!!

Positive: The property is in a lovely area with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and the metro is a minute walk from the front door. Upon entering the apartment it matched the photos that were shown with the listing and looks to be very well maintained. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town of Lyon and a 40 minute walk to Fourvière which is a fantastic view over Lyon.

Negative: There was nothing that I didn’t like about this property.

Summary: Awesome property and will be back in the future.

Positive: It was clean and comfortable and in a great location for exploring Lyon. The property manager was extremely helpful when we temporarily lost our keys and were unable to get back into the apartment.

Negative: To enter the apartment you needed a code, a toggle and then two keys so it was a lot of security.

Positive: Location; great shower; very efficient host; ease of transport; useful food shops; very quiet room.

Negative: No bathroom soap only shampoo and conditioner. No preparation knife for fruit and vegetables. Alcove bathroom at end of corridor probably more acceptable to couples.
