Summary: Interior is exactly as pictured with a great view. All amenities were acceptable and house was cozy and warm for how cold it was! Location is a bit far from town, but it was a nice drive in to wonder in Port Jervis.

Summary: Such a quaint farmhouse chic property. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedding cozy and comfortable and the view was magnificent. We enjoyed kayaking every day! Highlight was watching a bear cub swim across the pond. Can’t wait to come back!

Summary: We stayed here with some friends and our toddler and had an amazing time. The view from the big windows in the open concept living space was 5 stars. The lake is quiet with no motor boat traffic and we enjoyed taking the paddle boat out. The kitchen was well enough equipped to make some simple meals so we were able to stay on site the whole weekend. No complaints at all for a weekend out of the suburbs!

Summary: My boys and I stayed here two nights; it was exactly as described. The house is small but well designed and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of seating in the house. We brought our kayaks and kept them out on the dock so in the morning we were able to go kayaking immediately. The lake is a very easy paddle for beginners and we were the only ones on it each time. The road to the house is gravel and is a bit rough but manageable for our family car. There are no easy to reach grocery stores or restaurants; they are all about 20 minutes away so consider stopping before heading all the way to the house.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at this lake house. Pictures are accurate, very clean and everything in great condition. You can do your grocery shopping 10-15 minutes from there. Host is great and very communicative. High speed internet. Great place to untether and unwind.

Summary: The property was exactly as described. It rained the entire time we were there-- so we played many games- watched geese and goslings and thoroughly enjoyed the retreat. There are many artificial plants and only one cutting board-- I might amend that ratio if I were the property owner. But that's about it. :)

Summary: My family rented the house for a week around Christmas time. The house is really beautiful, and it was magical to see the snow and ice on the "Big Pond" facing the house. The location is ideal, not too far from civilization yet still pretty isolated. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful new design for the house. I strongly recommend this house for a few days of escape to the woods
