Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at AJ’s Nook. The very clean, tidy space was perfect for us to base ourselves to reconnect with family and friends. The shops were close by , the beach , the cafes…just perfect ! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchenette was delightfully stocked with essentials . Thankyou Jacolize for helping us feel very much ‘at home’

Summary: Dear host and hostess, Keven here. Thank you so much for hosting my father this month. I deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness, generosity and tolerance. Would like to recommend this house to all visitors who wants to stay in Northern Auckland. As I booked it for my father for around half a month, and he really felt like staying at home. In our opinion: it's very hard find a better place than this. Honestly we must rate it all five stars. Kind regards, Keven

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Learned something, that one needs to check if there is actually a TV in the accommodation before booking. None was listed, and none provided. As elderly citizens, we would have enjoyed some TV watching/relaxing after busy days.

Summary: The property owner was very welcoming, always helpful and lovely to deal with from the time of booking until after we left. The place was very clean, inviting, cosy, tranquil and relaxing. Perfect for our planning weekend. It had everything we needed, from a kitchenette with a small fridge/freezer, electric frying pan, air fryer, pots, pan, cutlery, crockery, glassware, toaster, nespresso machine, microwave, hot plate, dishwasher, cooking utensils, chopping boards, grater etc, table with chairs and placemats. The bathroom was well stocked and also has a hairdryer, towels and face cloths provided. Bedrooms were well appointed with comfy beds and all tastefully decorated. The spa got great use while we were there too! (Towels for the spa also available for use). It's equipped for keeping children entertained with board games. We were able to come and go as we pleased through a separate entrance. We drove over to Orewa for dinner both nights although Silverdale had sone great eateries nearby too. Highly recommend Orewa Thai (suggested by our lovely host) and also Shoreward bistro for a very generous Sunday roast. No complaints at all about this wonderful home. We shall be returning again and again. High praise for our wonderful host.

Summary: The host was great communicating prior to our stay and introduced herself after we’d settled in to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and everything was catered for. The spa pool was a highlight! Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Summary: Lovely place, nice getaway for the evening. Only recommendation would be for some milk for the gets and a small TV for thoze whose partners go to sleep earlier 😊 definately recommend and will keep in mind for future getaways.
