Positive: Absolutely fabulous very old establishment. 13th century. We'll renovated. Exceptional large room. Magnificent courtyard with pool for afternoon and evening drinks. Dinner and breakfast very high quality and inexpensive. Service second to none. Very comfortable bed

Positive: Good restaurant ( quirky decor) with pleasant service ( Daniele? I think)

Negative: Dark uncomfortable room ( heavily discounted on this site) with only one bedside light and side table. There was room for another one but when we complained the reception staff said this was architect designed. Also “resort” is a misnomer: there is a courtyard pool but very little else, other than a large wedding/ reception venue not in use during our stay. There was only one other hotel guest but it did not occur to the staff to offer a better room.

Positive: Nicely located in a beautiful old building. Reception staff very polite and willing to help and accommodate us. The breakfast was nice and the dinner decent.

Negative: Unfortunately our room was not up to the rating of this establishment. The ceiling was bad with moisture and the heating of the bathroom was not operational resulting in smell and moisture. Other rooms we saw were nice but unfortunately not ours
