Positive: Al mare guest house is in the perfect location overlooking the beach. Right out front are restaurants, wine bars, gelato bars and literally a 2 minute walk to the station and 5-10 mins to the old town. Marco greeted us upon arrival and explained the unit and the town and the facilities. He assisted us with our train tickets. We loved our stay at Cinqueterre and we highly recommend this property,

Positive: Amazing location. View from seaview balcony was exceptional. Perfect for relaxing on the verandah with a glass of wine. The rooms were beautiful and clean with plenty of space. Bathrooms were renovated and clean. Water was complimentary when we arrived. Marco was the best host and helped us with all our bags up the stairs. I will definitely return as soon as I can. Loved Monterosso.The apartment is only a short walk to the station.

Positive: This was an nothing short of amazing. I had a slip up in my travel plans and was able to communicate and amend my dates easily and received clear prompt and kind responses. The staff are so friendly and nothing was a problem. I had injured myself and was traveling alone and was helped with my bags to my water view room which was breath taking. I left my balcony door open at night and listened to the waves lapping the shore. Lots going on the bard walk to watch as I sipped my coffee in the mornings and you can see the most amazing sun rises and the lights of the other villages from your chair and even the bed:) The walls are adorned with a local photographers ( Simon art work including snippets of what you can see. Monterosso is the first or last village, depending on which way to approach the coast. The Guest house is a vert short walk from the train station which has step free access from the end of the platforms. ( lucky for me:) There are great restaurants right there on the water front and a convenience store which sells fresh produce and good local wines. Higly recommended for solo female travelers
