Positive: Beautiful old building and a magnificent garden like no other! Parking behind a locked gate. Very quiet location. Exceptionally large bathroom. Very good breakfast in a castle-like room :-)

Negative: Steep and narrow stairs to the room (1st floor). No help offered by the staff for hauling up the luggage. No air condition and no insect screens made the room very hot.

Positive: Charming and quite unique. Excellent quality/price ratio. Restaurant serve excellent food and has a great wine list. Breakfast is wonderful.

Negative: nothing: I come in this place every year for the Tartufo season

Positive: A converted castle, the hotel offers a unique atmosphere, evident in the structure, the gardens, the restaurant and the rooms. Helpful stuff, good breakfast.

Negative: Maybe I visited at a particularly hot week, but I feel that a hotel priding itself in this level of luxury should also offer airconditioned rooms; the provided fan has its limitations. Also - I needed to climb ca. 70 steps in order to get to my room. I should have probably been warned in advance.
