Negative: Was not clean, dirt dust in corners Kitchen floor was dirty and sticky Sofa in games room had a stain on it must be there for a while TV remote didn’t work Bed/bedding had stains on few of the beds Few toilets didn’t have a new toilet roll was half used One of the toilets tap was broken had to keep re screwing it back

Positive: There are lots of positives about the property. The location was perfect for us, walking distance to a family member, quiet road, although parking was sometimes difficult as people park along the road making it difficult to get into the gated parking space. There is plenty of room, including a games room! And plenty of bathrooms. The beds were pretty comfortable with lots of pillows but a very thick duvet, too warm for us for summer! 2 fridges and space to be together having food.
Negative: The kitchen is generally well equipped but missing some useful items: oven gloves, large saucepans/cooking trays. The place could do with tlc in some places - only half the toaster working, batteries missing/not working in the remote controls for tv, one fire alarm wires hanging out and disconnected, shower in main bathroom blocked so water not draining away, and also the thermostat on one of the showers not controlling the temperature so scalding hot. We had some issues that we only had 1 key to the property. This is very difficult for such a large family. Yes, there is a lockbox on site, but if some of us want to go to bed early with little kids and others stay out, we can’t lock the door and put the key in the lockbox to be used. For such a large occupancy house, having 2 keys would be very helpful. From a comfort perspective, it is very difficult to sleep in the bedrooms without proper curtains/blinds. The ones up are very light and essentially only provide privacy, no darkness.
Summary: Generally comfortable but could be better with not much extra effort.
