Summary: We had an amazing stay. Our first trip 2023 was set off right. We did activities (with the help of out host).. it really felt like home lol minus the deers 🦌 lol. House was amazing, clean, spacious and beautiful. We didn't want to leave. Will return as the weather gets nicer out. Best host. Communicated well, made sure that we were set

Summary: We had a wonderful stay - house was clean and comfortable. Perfect amount of space for our family of 6! Location was great with the lake within walking distance. We also took advantage of some of the hiking trails in the area and had a great time, even in the cold weather. Would book again!

Summary: My family just came back from this amazing house. It accommodated 10 of us very comfortably. It was redone in a very professional nice way. The 2 bathrooms, The kitchen, the bedrooms, living room etc. The beds were very comfortable and house was very clean. I really enjoyed all the amenities that the gated area provided Including access to the local lakes and pools. I know i also had access to basketball courts as well. This really added to our enjoyment of our vacation. Whether it was swimming in the lake or pool during the day or going to the lakeside at night to see the stars. The owner of the property was amazing at communicating with me prior to my stay and during my stay. He responded quite immediately with any of my questions. We really enjoyed being outside. Whether it was using the fire pit or just sitting on the porch with a nice little bulb lights that are hanging around the house. To sum up, we had an amazing vacation because of this house. I was really sad to come home as I really enjoyed all the amenities that this house provided. And we really hope to come back!

Summary: Positives-Owner is responsive and reached out to check in. A charming home in a beautiful and quite locale. The beds and bedding are clean and comfortable. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms are updated. Major appliances all work well (fridge, stove, microwave, washer/dryer). The location is ideal, centrally located and short driving distance to great places to visit. The furnishing are functional and in good condition. The exterior deck is well lit and useful. Fire pit is accessible and stocked with wood. We will return with hopes of needed changes having taken place. Changes-The home was picked-up but not clean. The floors were dirty, carpet not vacuumed. No detail cleaning-dusting baseboards, cobwebs around windows and ceilings, bathroom floor corners with debris. Kitchen; microwave unclean inside, stove unclean inside, cupboards need to be wiped down, vents need to be cleaned. Bathroom upstairs; the fan too loud, shower faucet handle loose and unsecured in shower wall, caulking around tub is deteriorating. Needs-Working vacuum cleaner, cookie/baking sheets, measuring cups, coffee mugs (only 4 mugs currently), mixing bowls, lack of cupboard space (previous renters/homeowner leaving food/spices in cupboards), screen door for front door, fireplace not working (like this since February), HVAC unit in kitchen lacks insulation around vent in window (currently using paper towels as insulation). Closing: If you want this location to be 5 stars then it has to be a ‘5 star’ location. In its current configuration it is not a 5 star, it is a 3 to 4 star. Everything is updated and shows that money has been put into the home but it has to be maintained or the property will lost its luster quickly. The owners stay here but it has to appear as though the owners don’t stay here.
