Positive: Absolutely exceptional stay. This was my first time staying alone with my dog and I felt absolutely safe and secure throughout my stay in this large and beautiful villa. The views from the property are breathtaking with the sea and mountains on the other side. The beach is a 2-3 minute walk away. I went for morning walks and swimming. The villa is modern, comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. The open terrace on the ground floor faces south and the sun is there all day. The garden is beautiful. The nearest town has everything: shops, restaurants etc. The hosts are wonderful people. On a few occasions they brought fresh tomatoes and sweet papers they had grown. It was very nice. A wonderful place to get away from the busy world for a while and connect with the beauty of nature.

Positive: Beautiful house with a nice beach in walking distance. The house was well equipped, clean with a wonderful see view. The landlords were very nice, quick to answer all questions and definately took the extra mile in service. My family of five felt just as home and enjoyed relaxing and cosy days at Alcazaba Hills.

Negative: Nothing special comes in mind.

Positive: This house is exceptional. We (family of four) stayed for a week in early March so the weather was warm days and cool nights, so we did not need the air conditioner or heater. The house is very spacious, on two levels. It is a modern house with many views over the sea and a good-sized yard. The local beach is 40 meters away. It is in a very quiet area, there is a tapas place within walking distance but we had a car so shopped in the nearby town and ate all of our meals at home. The kitchen has everything for cooking and the house also has a barbeque in the yard. There are two dining tables inside and one outside. The Wifi worked great as did all of the appliances. It was a great experience to stay at the house and enjoy the quiet, the birds, and the views of the sea. Finally, we should mention that the owner was exceptionally kind and warm. He found that we were interested in agriculture and gave us a tour of his family's greenhouse and brought us fresh tomatoes and peppers from the greenhouse, which we all really enjoyed. We did not want to leave and hope to visit again in future.

Positive: Juan Miguel is a very good and responsive host Very spacious and quiet place

Negative: Not everything meets usual north-American standards but OK since it is not in N-A (i.e. Kitchen and washing appliances, showers, kitchen and rooms air conditioning, furnitures, TV) Nice view from the villa but surrounding area is not very nice and clean. Adra is the closest city, it just started its development for tourism

Summary: Very nice place to rest and make many road trips (Granada, Almeria, Malaga, Almunecar,…)
