Positive: Super cosy ..very well equipped. Lots of natural light comes in from each side of the apartment. I was greeted by Camilla. She was lovely & welcoming. Grazie! The main bedroom is larger than the average with TV & private balcony for morning coffee. The terrace is huge with panoramic views of the Tuscan hills in the distance & the Duomo! Absolutely amazing! An ideal way to enjoy an aperitivo with friends on the private terrace overlooking Florence. Located in a Latino area. Supermarkets, cafes & restaurants just down the street. Bus stop around the corner, tram stop Porta Al Prato approx 20 min walk which goes directly to the train station. City centre approx 30 min walk. I felt safe, comfortable and I felt at home!

Negative: A few mosquitoes snuck in during the night!

Positive: nice bathroom and bedrooms - terrace was impressive - good cafe round the corner for breakfast

Negative: a little too far out from the centre - small gripe though - slight query about handover of keys, and realised we had to go down and unlock the metal gate in the entrance lobby before securing and leaving the apartment (I think this was necessary) - it would be good to have that advice displayed in the apartment as you could become locked into the lobby on leaving

Positive: - location was convenient, the neighborhood was quiet - the terrace was a very big plus with great view

Negative: - we had no wifi internet for the entire time of our stay, 3 nights; we contacted the owner to help us with the situation, and she called the internet company claiming that there is a network problem in the whole neighborhood, even though other wifi networks from the neighbors were working; she did not assist with an alternate solution, leaving us to manage on our own with mobile data - which was not a problem for us, but some travelers may not have that option; the owner kept on telling us to switch off and on the wifi router, for 3 days straight; she could've bought a new sim card to help us with the internet, but she showed indifference; this made our stay extremely unpleasant; - cleanliness - when we arrived, the bathroom toilet 🚽 wasn't properly cleaned, there were traces of poo 💩; the rooms weren't dusted off; everywhere was dust; the pillow cases smelled odd like they were stored improperly; - suggestions: change the lights in bedroom with warm lights, it was hard to even read at night with white light; the cover of the first drawer in the kitchen just fell off at the first touch; the door in the big bedroom didn't worked after one night, we had to put items in front of the door to keep it shut; I suggest to change the door handle and door lock; Overall, I felt like I stayed in a hostel, rather than a luxury top apartment as it says in the description!

Positive: The apartment is stunning. Beautiful roof top terrace and very spacious with an hair dryer, fridge annd washing machine it is exactly what you need for a city break. Lidl’s isnt too far away for groceries and there is very good working lift within the property Only downside is it’s a wee bit of a walk to the city although feels safe enough during the day but not so much late at night especially since there was only us two girls.

Negative: I think it does feel a little far out from the city centre and when it’s dark at night I didn’t feel as safe walking home because of it being a bit of a distance. Although there are bus stops close to the apartment so maybe folk can navigate the bus that would drop them closer than when walking from the city centre.

Summary: Excellent value for money and a very clean well presented apartment
