Positive: Family and I enjoy the authentic and natural space.

Negative: slightly not as clean as expected and there are rooms are not at the main area, need to walk away to another location which is not so convenient and especially seperaed with the family.

Positive: loved the traditional breakfast and all the cats! good proximity to Eryanping hike and close to a platform to view sea of clouds if you're lucky!

Negative: Room was COLD at night. we did receive an additional blanket in the room but some kind of heating would've been great! the walk up to the room is KILLER with the hill. and there really isn't too much around in terms of food aside from the restaurant at Hotel Indigo (expensive) and a 7-eleven.

Positive: This is a basic, but clean, hotel about an hour's drive from Alishan. The access road is very narrow. It has plenty of parking, however. There is a terrace a few minutes walk away where you can see the sunrise. There is also a short trail within walking distance and the Eryanping trail is a short drive down the road. The hotel serves a Chinese breakfast buffet which is quite good.

Negative: There are no restaurants within walking distance, just a 7-Eleven. Also, it can get cold at night, especially in the winter.
