Near the bastide town of Eymet, close to the castles of Bridoire and Monbazillac, just 20 minutes south of Bergerac and its airport (low cost flights from UK, Belgium, Holland).
Set on 3 acres of unspoiled, safe, & peaceful land, the property, full of charm & character, renovated in order to retain its original stone walls, beamed ceilings is furnished with elegance & comfort.
Modernized to high standards with the latest facilities, “La Tuilière” is suitable for family gatherings, anniversaries, celebrations, wine tasting parties or friends wanting to have fun...
It can accommodate up to 15 people: 8 bedrooms all en-suite (2 bedrooms with single beds, 4 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with Queen size bed and 1 with a double bed), an extra toilet near the living spaces, a large dining room, a living room, a fully equiped kitchen with ample counter space, a large hob and two ovens, and a utility room. Four bedrooms are on the ground floor and four on the first floor.
The property benefits from an 11 x 5 metre private heated swimming pool with terrace with a wonderful uninterrupted view over the countryside and vineyards, equiped with an immersion alarm for the safety of small children .
The house is rented with garden furniture, a charcoal barbecue, sun loungers, sun umbrellas and a parking area for 6 cars.
It is our main residence when not rented and is loved and cared for all year long. During their stay, our guests are alone on the property and take advantage of the house, garden, surroundings and all the amenities.
The property is normally rented Saturday to Saturday but do not hesitate to email us depending on your requirements. We might be able to make an exception.

Summary: Ten of us (two families with three kids each) had a very enjoyable stay at this wonderful property in a fantastic location. Despite the fact the kids are now all adults there was ample room for us all and we were left wanting for nothing in this well equipped, spacious and meticulously maintained property. Our hosts were warm and friendly, the house was spotless, and the games room, generously sized pool and magnificent views meant we were happy to spend several days just lounging around the property. On the days we decided to venture out, there was plenty to do and see in the area without having to travel too far. Would highly recommend for larger groups / families.

Summary: The villa served as the setting for a family celebration and 2 week hoiday. The surroundings were picturesque, the villa fantastically accomodating for our group of adults and young children, and the hosts, Claire and Kieran, went above and beyond in looking after us during our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to anyone looking to visit the area and will no doubt be back again soon ourselves. 10/10

Summary: Magnificent. Lovely house and grounds, carefully restored, genuine 8-bed ensuite, in delightful setting with easy access to the Dordogne. The house is well provisioned with the essentials - crockery, cutlery, kitchen and cooking equipment. We were a party of eleven and we much appreciated and enjoyed our time there.

Summary: An Excellent property; spacious, well equipped and maintained, not to mention beautiful. An ideal location, quiet and peaceful yet within easy reach of all amenities and attractions; that is if you can drag yourself away from the garden and poolside. Keiran and Claire looked after us very well; we have rented properties in France since 1981 and have never before had our empty bottles taken to the bottle bank for us! We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this property.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful property. The house has eight en-suite bedrooms all decent size and well furnished. Bathrooms are modern. The grounds are beautiful with an enormous heated pool.The owners were a delight and very responsive, a shower head broke and Kieran was there within ten minutes fixing it. The house is a short drive to Eymet and Bergerac. We rarely revisit a house this is one we hope to.

Summary: What an absolutely amazing and special place to stay! From our first contact with Claire with questions pre-booking, through Keiran's meeting of us on arrival, to our last morning and chats with both of them, Claire and Keiran were perfect hosts and clearly care about making sure their guests have the best possible time. Everything about this house is fantastic, the fact that each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom was such a bonus and made a multi-generational holiday so much easier. The house is so well equipped, the kitchen in particular has everything you need. It was lovely to have an abundance of plates/mugs/glasses/cutlery rather than having to constantly wash-up (it's the simple things that make life so much easier!) We were a group of 14 plus we had 6 visitors for a celebratory meal and had more than enough crockery, glasses and chairs to go around. The pool is so clean and heated to a perfect temperature, it was the highlight of the holiday for our grandchildren. The list of positives about this house is endless - it's absolutely perfect for a large group (no close neighbours so didn't have to worry about noise!!) and very handy for Bergerac airport. We would definitely return if we had a large group holiday.
