This 1 bedroom cabin is 730 square feet. There is a King size comfortable bed in the bedroom, and 2 futon beds in the living area. The living area also has a remote controlled air conditioner for those really hot days and nights! There is a 42 inch smart TV in the living room, and 32 inch screen in the bedroom with a VHS unit. The kitchen table seats 6, and is equipped with a full refrigerator/freezer, and any kitchen item you might need. The large bathroom has a shower, and also a washer and dryer for your convenience. The screened in porch is located on the beach side attached to the cabin, has a table and chairs that seats 6 as well. The nice sandy beach, and the shallow sandy bottom swimming area, makes it perfect for a family getaway.
Have coffee while watching the sunrise on the dock, or while sitting in the screened in porch. If you’re bringing a boat, you can spend the day on the water. At night you can start a campfire in the fire pit that lies close to the lakefront. In the mood for other entertainment? Ottertail is 3 miles away, and Perham is 7 miles away! We love this place, but don’t have the time to use it like we’d like. We think you will love it too!
FYI...We use this cabin when we don’t have renters, so we do have some of our things in the cupboards and in the door of the fridge. 😁

Summary: We had a great little trip and enjoyed the cabin, location, yard, and beach. Wonderful sandy beach with a large yard. Located at a dead end road so it’s very quiet. Would love to stay again soon!

Summary: Great communication with owner. Plenty of parking. Huge yard with some lawn chairs and firepit. Located at a dead end so nice and quiet. Excellent beach for littles - very shallow very far out and lots of sand. (A bit of a rise between cabin and water so if you have an escape artist toddler that may be worth noting.) No weeds and pretty solid sand as far out as I walked. Our 6 yr old caught a few small panfish from the dock. Always a few boats out fishing so if we stayed longer would probably have waded out to fish a bit deeper. Walking into cabin it felt like we'd arrived at our own family's cabin. Open space made it feel bigger than a 1 bedroom. We didn't use front screen porch but it would be nice for family game night. Having a king bed was great. The mattress should be replaced and futon was very firm, but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves and wished we had another day.

Summary: Everything as advertised. Very peaceful location, easy to find. Property owner was very helpful and went out of the way to communicate details ahead of my stay. I will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Summary: This is our second time staying at this peaceful lake cottage. Our VRBO hostess was very friendly to work with and communication was GREAT. We would highly recommend this MN lakeside cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. OH, and the fishing was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Stayed here for a small girl's weekend, and it was perfect. The host was very nice and checked in with us during our stay. The cabin is small, but felt so warm and cozy.

Summary: This was a wonderful spot for me and my wife and 3 boys (5 and under). It was our first VRBO stay and we loved it! Lots of yard to run and play. They had yard games for us as well. The beach and lake were wonderful. The older 2 boys could go out past the dock and still touch the lake bottom. Wonderful sand castle sand! A couple of places could use a good dusting but that is our only small complaint. Would love to stay again!

Summary: It was the perfect getaway for us to recharge. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we needed. We enjoyed the sandy beach & shalllow lake. We were there during the week & the lake was quiet. There was room in the garage to put our kayak at night. We used the grill. The bed was comfortable. Melanie checked in to make sure we were settled upon arrival. She was responsive with questions.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay! We brought our boat and it was easy access onto the lake and just a short distance to the cabin. Caught some good fish, northern pike, sunnies and bass. Our lab loved the water and how shallow it was near shore. The lake was very clean and not a lot of weeds. The cabin was comfortable especially the bed! The only friendly suggestion I have is that the cabin could use a good deep cleaning along with the bbq grill.
