Summary: This property is located in a quiet, idyllic part of Vermont on beautiful Lake Fairlee. The views are amazing, and the backyard leads right up to a dock where you can launch the canoes and kayaks that come with the house. The inside of the house was spotless and tastefully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. The property manager lives in the carriage house next door and was attentive to all of our needs. This is truly a special place.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is is loaded with character, very well equipped, and sits on a beautiful lake. The property manager was extremely accommodating and really worked to help us have a great stay. We hope to return here in the future.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay, Olivia is a wonderful host and the cottage was fully equipped for fun and relaxation. Bonfires by the water were great and the full moon was a treat! We look forward to returning again later this summer.

Summary: My husband and I had a perfect time at the Lake Cottage. The location is perfect with the new cedar private dock and beautiful Lake Fairlee. Our hostess, Olivia, made every accommodation to our questions and requests and provided homemade amenities that were very welcome. We plan to return next summer for a longer stay. Summary: Our group absolutely loved our time at this home which we rented to attend the graduation festivities at Dartmouth! The house was super clean; the kitchen had everything we needed (including some staples which was sooo nice); the fireplace and bbq grill were ready to go, and the room to gather was ample and perfect for cards, meals, conversations, and daydreaming. The porch and backyard directly on the lake, as well as the hammock were comfortable, relaxing, and havens for multiple naps after canoe rides and our festivities. Olivia went above board to welcome us, anticipate our needs, and make our stay special. Five stars for everything! Highly recommend.

Summary: We stayed at this charming lake house in September and October. The house easily accommodated our family of four and had plenty of space for us to entertain. We love to cook and found the kitchen was very well equipped. In fact, the house had everything we needed during our two-month stay. The location is ideal. It was fantastic to be right on the lake. Fabulous views and easy to canoe or kayak at any time. We also enjoyed many walks on dirt roads nearby. It was just a twenty minute drive into Hanover, and there are two great restaurants nearby (Ariana's and Peyton Place). I also recommend a visit to the Whippi Dip if you are there in the summer. For us, one of the nicest things about our stay was getting to know Olivia. She is a wonderfully warm person who was ready to help at a moment's notice. If you are looking for a quintessential Vermont vacation during any of the four seasons, this is the perfect house! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Summary: This lakefront house was perfect for us and Olivia's ready assistance throughout the week put the icing on this cake. She was outstanding. Six of us (parents and young adults all in one family and a friend) stayed Thanksgiving week at Lake Fairlee. Although the lake is often seen as a summer destination we found plenty to do during the holiday week, both in the house and in the area. We had light snow several days which made the landscape very beautiful and the fireplace in the living room was perfect for warming everyone up after time outside running, walking or playing badminton. The kitchen was well stocked and the few extra things we needed to cook for a crowd Olivia readily provided as soon as I told her of our plans. The house was set up just as we'd arranged through Olivia in advance. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable when we arrived and the food to greet us (cinnamon bread, granola and maple syrup) was a very nice touch. The house also had kayaks and canoes and when the temperature nudged towards 40 we paddled on the lake. Wonderful. Beds were very comfortable, good water pressure and wi-fi. Mesmerizing views of the changing conditions on the lake:fog, low clouds, rain, snow, sunrise. It was all nice to us. Highly recommend. Our crew is already talking about a return.
