Welcome to Almost Heaven! This is a great cabin close to everything in the Tannenbaum Resort area. Golfing, Greers Ferry Lake, and there's plenty of space for the WHOLE family here! The main house has 2,056 sf, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There's a fully equipped kitchen area with large open kitchen, dining and living area with high vaulted ceilings, large flat screen TV and large wrap around deck, partially covered. Main/bottom level has 2 bedrooms, both w/ queen beds, upstairs has a nice open loft sitting area with sleeper sofas and 1 large bedroom with a queen bed, and a living room area with a sleeper sofa and a large flat screen TV. Garage apartment has another 1,073 sf with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds and other 2 bedrooms have queen beds, and a living area with a TV, dining table, and sleeper sofa. Hardwood and tile floors throughout. Set up to sleep 13 comfortably, in beds, but more on sleeper sofas if you'd like. There is also a charcoal grill outside, and a fire-pit in the backyard. Come and enjoy a weekend, week, or month(s) at Almost Heaven, and enjoy the wildlife and outdoors!

Summary: We have a group of 10 men that have stayed here the last two years. Love the proximity to the Tannenbaum Golf Course. The house has plenty of space. Everyone had a bed and because it has two separate living spaces, you never feel on top of each other. Nice kitchen area with a big table. We used the grill this year and it worked nicely. Nobody in our group had any complaints. The only issue, and it was minor at best, would be that the bathtub drain in the bathroom in the rooms above the garage does not drain very well so you're taking a showing standing in water. Nothing unbearable but it would be nice to see this addressed. But, overall, I expect that we'll be back again next year.

Summary: Really nice retreat. The rooms above the garage had either a gasoline or kerosene smell. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay. We will be coming back again. Thank you so much for a nice escape from the real world

Summary: The photos in this listing does not do the house justice. It was spacious and we wished our stay was longer. The kitchen was centralized, so everyone who was cooking could still be apart of the activities. The dining table was large enough to allow us to place the food out as well as play board and card games. A bonus that wasn't mentioned in the description was the ice maker in the freezer. It made plenty of ice for our group and we did not have to go out and buy extra. Although we didn't use the fire pit area in the back yard, we did go out and look out the yard. Now I will mention the only cons. Some of the artwork depicted confederate uniformed personnel. I understand being in the south, some people are descendants of confederates, but if you are a guest who would be offended by this then be wary because there were at least three large pieces of artwork that depicts confederate scenes. A family member even mentioned how they didn't feel welcome in this house because of the artwork. I did mention this post stay to the homeowner following our stay. Also the walls are thin in the main house so if someone is taking a late night shower upstairs, then the downstairs person staying in the room near the bathroom can hear everything. Oh and the room across the bathroom in the main house, the bed is a water bed. Keep that in mind. The confederate artwork really bothered me especially given the racial issues Drasco, AR and Heber Springs, AR is known for.

Summary: We had 9 guys up for a golf outing. The house was just right. We had 4 guys in the main house and 5 above the garage. We could have added 1 or 2 more and still not felt on top of each other. If you have couples, then you can probably have about 14 people or so before it gets too cozy. Everything worked as it should. We did have an issue with the hot water in the bathroom above the garage. I emailed the property manager and we had a response within 20 minutes and we were able to flip the switch to turn it back on and we were good to go. Plenty of room out back if you want to play games such as cornhole or washers or anything else. It was hot while we were there but the air conditioning and fans worked great. Really a nice place for larger groups.

Summary: All was fine. The only disappointment was not being able to purchase the AR Razorback football game with LSU. Direct TV required we give a code which was not available to us, but we won the game anyway! Everything else was great.
