Located 3608 feet above sea level in the village of Kulm, this family-run guesthouse offers a quiet yet central location in the heart of the Ramsau sun plateau, at the foot of the Dachstein mountain. After a day of hiking, skiing or cross-country skiing (with the cross-country ski runs leading right past the house), you can relax in the Alpenbad's sauna area. In the summer, a heated outdoor pool, which can be covered in bad weather, is available. In the morning you will enjoy a rich breakfast buffet. A half-board arrangement includes a 4-course dinner with a choice of dishes, including regional and international dishes and homemade pastries and gateaux (French cake). Children will enjoy the Alpenbad's big play room and the outdoor playground. Several shops and restaurants, the post office and a bus stop are in the immediate vicinity, as well as tennis courts and a miniature golf course. From May to October guests of the Alpenbad receive the Sommercard, with which more than 100 sights and attractions in the region are available free of charge or at reduced prices.

Positive: The Schrempf family pension is great! The staff was very friendly, and the assistance was beyond expectation!!...makes our stay most pleasant. Hotels can be simple or fancy, but what really matters to me is the service and the feeling of being seen. More than that, the breakfast was great and rich. The Spa is cozy, very clean, and pleasant. Nice rooms - not new but all functioning very well. pleasant to stay. For sure, I will make an effort to come again to Alpenband and the beautiful Ramsau am Dachstein region.

Positive: A small charming boutique hotel with outstanding hospitality. We had opted for half board option and the food in Austria mostly consisted of beef and pork but Ms.Tamara made additional effort and provided us with chicken and Veg options. She considered our request for an extended checkout as well. The rooms were clean and we had a fantastic views from the balcony.

Negative: Might not be suitable for people with knee issues as the rooms are on 1st and 2nd floor and they don’t have lift access
