Positive: The friendliness of the staff was outstanding. We felt so welcome and valued. The room was lovely and comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent with delicious food and excellent service. The location was perfect with free parking right in the centre of this wonderful little German town.

Positive: The hotel was an easy walk from the train station and was very pretty and in the center of plenty of shopping and dining. The room was clean and well stocked with towels and a mini bar.
Negative: The room lacked ventilation except for windows being open. The room faced the street and with windows open it was noisy well until about 3am with people talking and/or smoking outside. With the windows closed the noise level was better but the room because very warm and stuffy quickly. The bell tower rang throughout the night. The pillows were lumpy and not very comfortable which combined with the noise and the temperature made for a long night with little sleep.
Summary: Cute place but probably will not rebook.

Positive: At an additional cost of 5 Euros per day overall breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was that upon occasion the buffet ran out of certain options eg. Yoghurts and/or fruit salad. Our evening meals were excellent - good portions of wholesome food with friendly staff only too keen to help. It was lovely to have a meal accompanied with traditional Bavarian music on accordion and guitar.
Negative: Our room could have done with a little renovation ie. chipped paintwork and a rather faded carpet in need of replacement however thee room was cleaned daily and beds were most comfortable.
Summary: A lovely hotel in a stunning location.

Positive: Very warm welcome and people were always able to handle my family’s uncommon requests.
Negative: The availability of extra pillows was non-existent. But that’s me being picky. The stay was excellent overall.
Summary: Amazing short stay at Alpenrose Gästehaus with friendly staff, tasty and plentiful breakfast and great location.

Positive: Hotel was clean and neat. Amazing Bavarian vibe. Host was so awesome- she was always smiling and positive in every moment. Really made the days brighter for us. Delicious food, love the wild menu. Great breakfast buffet for 5€ only. Highly recommended.
