Positive: I liked that it was very close to the Osechinensee, right I the middle of Mountains. Great view. Overall I would definitely come to Kandersteg but to this stay may not be the case. The host did provided us cooling ventilator which was good( for summer).

Negative: As mentioned in many other reviews, camera in front of stay(which I can understand the reason ). I would request/suggest the host to atleastcover up the transparent window so it doesn't look like the camera is looking into the stay.

Negative: No ventilation at all. No windows, no AC. We had to open the entrance door because you get claustrophobic and super hot, there’s a lot of flies because of the cows close by, so we spend a lot of time killing flies. It is a store turned into an apartment so there’s just the display window/glass and the door. This was the only issue. Oh and maybe just get at least one pan, they have five pots for soup and such but no pan to make eggs or to fry sausage, make pancakes etc.

Summary: Very clean, good location, good WiFi just need windows

Positive: Great location and convenient parking right next to the building. Looked newly converted from a business so everything was new and in very good condition. The amount of space available was really excellent!

Negative: Not everything from the conversion was finished and some small things were missing. For example the bathroom had no hooks or anything to hang towels anywhere. When you have more than 2-3 people staying it gets a little complicated to find a place to hang them to dry. There were some big holes in the wall that were not covered up with anything that showed some plumbing or other utility junctions, which isn't exactly a great aesthetic. And finally having such a big window surface on the ground floor lead to the feeling there was a draft. The heating was okay, but overall we felt a bit on the cold side.

Summary: 95% what you need at a price that is hard to beat.

Positive: Very clean and had many amenities in the kitchen. Clean bathroom and the location was great.

Negative: The lack of windows especially downstairs. This was not a big problem since we were mostly out but something to consider if staying more than a few days.
