This cabin is in the community of Alpine, Colorado, which you probably won't find on too many maps. The community is a mix of hardy full-time residents and travelers from near and far, all seeking the solitude of the mountains. You can often hear the sound of distant laughter as others enjoy quality time, the smell of hot dogs on an outdoor fire, or the peace in lying in a hammock and watching the transition of the day turning into night.
WINTER GUESTS: All-Wheel drive, four-wheel drive, or chains are recommended.
GUESTS WITH TRAILERS: Guests can park up to two trailers in the driveway, with a maximum length of 30'. For longer or additional trailers, there is overnight public parking on County Road 162. Riding an OHV from the property is prohibited out of respect to the neighbors.

Summary: This is a four bedroom four bathroom home with plenty of space for relaxing in the two living rooms and the dining area. We have stayed here before and since then, 2 bathrooms have been updated, which was very nice. We would stay here again!

Summary: This is a unique house as it has obviously been added on and upgraded over the years, but it served us well! The deck was large and a great place to relax, and the house was well stocked. Our only minor complaints was there were no grilling utensils that we could find, and it seemed to run out of hot water easily. Overall it was a great stay and we would not hesitate to come back!

Summary: We were here with our family for one of our sons' wedding. The cabin was roomy and each bedroom had it's own bathroom, which was great. It had a couple of living areas, which was nice for spreading out in groups. The kitchen was well equipped. It was a nice place to spend time together!

Summary: What an absolute DREAM stay! Thank you Renee & Jeremy!! With only the tiniest break in an enormous Winter Storm, we arrived in tact and immediately were confronted with the beauty of Fox & Cozy Cabin !! Each and every thoughtful and necessary amenity was perfect. We opened the doors to a warm inviting mountain home full of interesting character from the lovey artwork to the solid and rich crafted cabin-style architectural features! Everyone fell in love with your vacation rental. Once settled in, it became our posh ground-zero. The hub from whence all our adventures disembarked, and at the end of the each day, the safe and relaxing sanctuary we sought, tired and running on empty. We gathered to hot and tasty dinners, served from the kitchen with ease. We shared our highlights daily, over meals… and even a birthday for little Buck, who turned 7; albeit a few days earlier this year! For the vacation rental side our review, all the communications, safety equipment, and infrastructural systems are clearly locatable and explained in the property’s manual. We experienced no issues during our stay, but felt extremely confident that if we needed to re-start, stop, or inspect anything related to the wet and environmentally systems, the book contained precise steps and pictures to facilitate a successful attempt. It was peace of mind to know a working landline was available if we needed to make a call. Under the pandemic posture that the world is faced with, we immediately felt that the entire cabin was in top maintenance and very clean. Under the continued winter flurries and sustained low temperatures, there were no drafts or noticeable cold zones inside the cabin proper. The thermostat was modern and digital with smart IoT devices easily and conveniently located both upstairs, on the main floor and even in the walkout basement. The hot water was plentiful and sublimely ho; on demand! All in all, our family would absolutely recommend Fox & Cozy Cabin to anyone. You’ll be comfortable, relaxed, semi-secluded, pampered, and…well, at Home! Our most Sincerest Thanks and highest High-Five to our Host & Owners!
