Positive: We were give a very large room (for disabled clients). The bed was quite comfortable and larger between a queen and king size (foam mattress); the bathroom was large as well. There is an elevating platform for wheelchairs in order to access the upstairs where rooms are located (no regular elevator). There is a remote check-in system for which instructions and PIN numbers are sent to the customer; this might be complicated for the elderly. The staff at the bakery was welcoming and helpful in the morning. They bake the freshest and best pastries! This hotel is located across the street from the hospital and often hosts patients, families, and medical staff. Rooms are straightforward, simple, clean, well maintained, and at a great price.
Negative: I am not sure if the floor had been mopped; not having slippers, I was not sure it was clean. The rest of the room was obviously clean. There was a kitchenette but the fridge was completely warm. Since one has to place the room key in a slot to activate the electrical supply in the room, the fridge gets turned off every time one leaves the room. Also, there was adequate air conditioning but although we were unable to adjust the temperature. When I texted the office, they kindly dropped the temperature remotely. Upon arrival, there was a bit of confusion with another couple and an employee (whom we did not expect to be there since all check in was completed remotely). Our room almost got assigned to someone else until we arrived with the key in hand. Their booking system had not synched until a certain time next morning, so even at 9 AM, someone else's name was attached to our room number, causing some confusion, not knowing if our breakfast was included or not. It is difficult to drag/carry luggage through the back entrance as pavement is very uneven and large planters are in the way.
Summary: Clean, spacious, simle, and affordable room. Self check-in/out, no staff on site; the best pastries!

Positive: The stay was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean, well-organized, and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff was supportive.
Negative: The only downside was the breakfast – it included just one croissant and a small cup of coffee or orange juice. I even saw the staff adding water to the orange juice while preparing it.

Positive: It was close enough to the airport. For our one night stay. The owner Daniel was very nice and attentive. He tried multiple times to get us a taxi but no one was available. Something to mention are the amazing croissants that the bakery makes. There was a lot of flavors to choose from, very fresh and delicious. We also got freshly squeezed orange juice. Breakfast was included in the room rate. We would return back but would plan our taxi back to the airport the night before.
Negative: Everything was great about the property but I didn’t realize that it closed mid day and there was no one to give us the key. You had to call a number on the window of the bakery to get a hold of someone. We also had a problem getting a taxi back to the airport. It’s a small town with not a lot of options.
