Positive: Staffs are all very friendly, from main lobby to restaurant and executive lounge. Our housekeeping lady 小艳was really thoughtful.

Positive: Andy and his team are doing a great job, I was there with my family and it was amazing. Started already with reception all are friendly and helpful, all the rooms are very clean, also the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, so much choice, unbelievable. We often used public transport, as underground station is nearby 6-7min walk. Shops are nearby. All was perfect! Thanks to the great team again.

Negative: Nothing comes to mind.

Summary: Absolutely great, can fully recommend it!

Positive: Great stay with fantastic staff and location We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is super convenient, with convenience stores, supermarkets, and a subway station all just a short walk away. The room was tidy, spacious, and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower and a really comfy bed.

Positive: Really nice hotel - we even got a free room upgrade. The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast was the best we had in shanghai so far. Good location with shops and restaurants in walking distance - and of course: a didi ride is supercheap innshanghai so you can go anywhere!

Negative: We found nothing negative about our stay ;-)

Positive: LOCATION: - The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, convenience stores, massage parlours, and nail salons, and is easily accessible via Didi. CLEANLINESS: - The cleaning staff do an amazing job every day and keep everything spotless. They are also very accommodating — on one occasion, we left the hotel at 4pm and they were still happy to come in and clean our room. STAFF: - The staff (concierge, front desk, greeters, bellboys, etc.) are all incredibly friendly and truly go above and beyond to help. - The front desk staff were always reachable via the room phone and were very patient with my random requests (like masking tape and measuring tape) during my frantic last-minute packing. - A special shout-out to Coke Liu, who helped me organise delivery boxes for all my shopping — he even added me on WeChat to assist me outside of his working hours. I’m so grateful to him! - I’d also like to thank John Liu and Molly Chen, who always greeted me with a smile and consistently offered help whenever I saw them in the lobby. CONCLUSION: Shanghai was our final stop on our China trip, and we weren’t expecting much — but the staff at this hotel were so welcoming, hardworking, and courteous that I would definitely stay here again when I return to Shanghai.

Negative: 1) Note that there are NO laundry machines or dryers in this hotel - you will have to Didi to a laundromat if you want to do your own laundry instead of relying on their dry cleaning service. There is a laundromat- Jingyue Self-Service Laundry (Chengshangcheng Branch) about an 18-min Didi ride from the hotel. Note that you NEED a Chinese phone number to get a mobile verification code to operate the Wechat or Alipay app-operated washing & drying machines. 2) Nothing to do with the hotel but when you order a Didi, some of them find it hard to locate the entrance to the hotel driveway (which is 1-way only). Might be good for the hotel to install a large sign to show the Entrance.

Positive: Breakfast was excellent and well replenished constantly. The chef Jim Cai was always on hand to make sure that the food has a lot of variety and the taste was constantly maintained. Zero Zhang that works at the concierge was superb helpful with insight guidance on where to visit in Shanghai and always ever ready to greet not just us, but all guests with a smile. Anny at the check in reception area who could speak fluent English was very kind and helpful in helping us to make reservations at restaurants and letting us know where the good shopping locations were. At breakfast every morning, Linda was also helpful in making sure we were well taken care of. Location of the hotel was spot on, literally a short distance to the metro.
