This gorgeous apartment is right on the lake, yet just steps from all that downtown Kaslo has to offer, including a brew pub, restaurants, shops, library, watercraft rentals, galleries, walking trails -- and the historic Moyie sternwheeler right next door. It's a skier's paradise in the winter, and there is an arena and curling club just up the road.
With dark hardwood floors, incredible panoramic views, clean and spacious rooms, guests say it is "immediately calming" and "a tonic for the soul."
There is a full kitchen, large walk-in pantry, living room, dining area, and a large balcony off the kitchen with stunning views of Kootenay Lake and the mountains.
There are three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with single bunk beds. There are two bathrooms, one with bathtub and shower, one with shower. A private covered staircase takes you to the beach right below the house, and canoe, kayak and waterboard rentals are right next door.

Summary: My brother and I chose this property for a short getaway primarily to soak in the mountain/lake air and views. It did not disappoint! The covered deck was sheltered from the Fall winds, and the interior was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. The central location was a big bonus with walking paths, stores and restaurants just steps away. Communication with the owner was great and I would not hesitate to return!

Summary: Really great place!! very clean, waterfront with a great view, great deck, good beach just down the steps from the house. It's right in town so you can walk to everything including the great river trail. Lorna was an amazing host. My friend and I had a really relaxing time there.

Summary: This is a lovely apartment, even better than the pics and description! My husband and I loved being in this beautiful space with the most gorgeous lake view. Ideally located right in town, but private and quiet. Highly recommended!

Summary: We loved the spacious condo in Kaslo. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us. We spent endless hours sitting on the large deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen was equipped to make in-house meals. Thanks so much Lorna for the use of your home. We will definitely be back.
