The Gnome Home is nestled in on a quiet street within the Bike Friendly City of Crosby Minnesota. You'll be able to ride in and out to both the mountain bike trails and downtown Crosby.
From The Gnome Home you will have easy access to downtown Crosby where you can find pretty much anything you need. There are restaurants, ice cream shops, a brewery, a grocery store, a hardware store, and multiple antique shops - just to name a few. Here you'll also find Serpent Lake which includes public boat access as well as a beach, a fun playground, a skatepark, and a RV park.
Once you get here, you may not want to leave as there is extensive recreation in the area. The Cuyuna Area boasts access to a ton of activities including mountain and paved trail biking, hiking, kayaking, boating, snowmobiling, and ice fishing. When staying at The Gnome Home you are less than a mile from the mountain bike trailhead.
Fresh, crisp linens will be on each bed and bath towels are also provided.
In the evening… enjoy the peace and quiet on the back deck in the private fenced in backyard. When it’s time to turn in you'll find 2 bedrooms each sporting new queen beds and a 3rd bedroom which houses a bunkroom with 2 full and 2 twin beds.

Summary: We rented this home while our kids and grandkids stayed at True North base camp to do mountain biking, which we also did. But we wanted a house where we could gather with the kids for a meal, games, and showers occasionally, and have a less rustic place for us to stay! Couldn't have been more perfect. Jenn and Mitch went above and beyond answering questions and making us welcome. The garage had plenty of space for our own bikes, and the decorating in the house just made us all right at home. The location is so close to the Cayuna trails that it made everything about our stay quick and easy. Just a wonderful experience!

Summary: This home is just as described! Clean, cozy, close to parks, (awesome park, just down the road a few blocks) town, etc. Beds were comfortable, and pillows great! It was quiet, and had all that we needed. Not far from Brainerd. We had no need to contact host after getting our checkin instructions.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at the Crosby Gnome Home! It was a perfect spot for our family of 4 with two young kids. The home is absolutely adorable and very clean! A nice big living space for down time or play time and a great fenced in yard for the kids to run around and play! Perfectly located walking distance to a fun park, the lake, a great coffee shop and other fun spots downtown. We had easy communication with Mitch and Jenn, check in and out was a breeze. Overall would highly recommend this place!
