Summary:
We would love to share our Happy Place with you! This beautiful three bedroom home is located on a great fishing lake named Nord, just minutes from Aitkin and a short drive to Cuyuna, Brainerd, and Duluth. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and is located on a private road. You may know that "Nord" is Swedish for North and we are inviting you to come up north and make memories you will cherish for years to come!
The Space:
The county license limits the advertised occupancy to a maximum of seven. This home has a master bedroom on the main level with a private bath. The bed is king split an adjustable bed.
On the lower level there is a beautiful family room that is connected to two more bedrooms and leads to our "Happy Place"
Bedroom #2 has a queen & a full/full bunk with a single trundle
Bedroom #3 has a queen
Enjoy the sunsets and take a break from the daily grind relaxing in our special spot!
The Neighborhood:
This home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. We welcome appropriate size groups, but please no parties of any kind.
Other Things to Note:
There are not ATVs allowed on the property or the road leading up to it. As the merchant of record MN REandM does retain a 4% credit card process fee to cover direct costs in the event of a guest cancelation. Reach out if you have questions about this policy.

We employ the highest quality professional housekeepers in the area. All bed linens are washed off-site, and towels are provided. Our cleaners use a line of eco-friendly, non-toxic products. They also stock the following items: shampoo, conditioner, liquid hand soap, individual bar soap, toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, garbage bags, trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, sponges, and propane (estimated value of $50 per stay and is covered by the cleaning fee).

Summary: Beautiful lake home, very clean, very comfortable. It was peaceful and relaxing with space on both levels for the five of us adults to hangout reading, working on puzzles, watching TV, or just chatting. It would be great for families with young children as well. Fishing was good. Property manager was very helpful with any needs. Highly recommend

Summary: Such a beautiful cabin and beautiful views! Many vantage points in the cabin to sit and enjoy everything around you. The beds and the couches are very comfortable. The place was clean and looked fresh/new. The screened in porch was amazing. Sat in there one morning that it was raining and it was so calming and peaceful. My only negative is the time there went too fast and wish we booked more days on to the trip to stay there. Great service and communication with Mike, who was managing the property. I look forward to future stays at this cabin!

Summary: Beautiful property, right on the lake with gorgeous sunrise, sunset, and overall views. Enjoyed our stay which included venturing out to neighborhood towns to see sites, do a bit of shopping, eating, visiting apple orchard, etc. and enjoying the fall colors enroute.
